Kinda. It may seem disgusting but I have a case of ringworm and I have been trying to keep it from spreading. I have done everything.... and one of the sores got bigger on my chin. It is really [email protected] & GrannyJ

My hubby got ringworm from our cat.
We were using some stuff the vet gave us for the cat, and she told us it could work on people too, so he used it.

Worked great.

I am so sorry Daisy! Have you gone to the doctors?

daisy- what are you using for your ringworm? we had really bad case of it a couple years ago. lamisil finally got rid of it. and spraying lysol everywhere and washing the sheets and blankets in hot water every couple days. oh and don't use the same towel over and over, get a new one every time. make sure everything is washed in hot water if can be. :yes:

jean- that's where we got it too. it was awful. jacob and i had it the worst.

Eek, I had ringworm as a little one.

I have been using creams, top coat nail polish, newskin, band-aids on the minor ones... the top coat is working on the minor ones but the major one on my chin spread horribly and I am not using a band aid anymore :/ I don't know if that is good. I haven't been to the doctors. @Jeannesha, llonka, & crimson

ringworm sounds horrible!

don't cover them up, daisy. that just helps keep the moisture in. the nail polish didn't really work for us either. cream for like athlete's foot worked the best.

If it doesn't go away in the nest few days I would go to the doctors. You don't want it to get to bad. You can get pretty sick right? I've never had it so I have no idea what the symptoms are and stuff....

My case wasn't bad. Just a quarter-sized(?) one on my cheek. I don't recall suffering from it. I just had a contagious red circle on my cheek.
