Does it help that I don't get it either? it's call liqueur or some such? It's like alcoholic cream inside truffles. I never understood liqueur desserts as a kid. Still don't know, but they nudged me to try 'em. xP

I anticipated them to taste badly as I don't really like alcohol. The first one as expected was awful. Just awful. But the second one as I said was like a lindor truffle mixed with coffee. I didn't notice any bite at all, just like eating a really rich and smooth chocolate.

I can't get over the taste~. xD Ugh. A few years ago at my aunt's for Christmas we sat there totally demolishing this gingerbread house and eating rum balls. I'm not sure which had a worse taste though, stale gingerbread or rum balls. xD |
