The 100-sided dice lands on 27
I thought Mene would pick up over the summer, but it has still seemed a bit slow. I guess life is just getting in the way.

Maybe so. I didn't think about that. I've only ever taken two summer trips in my life.

No. I grew up poor. We didn't have the money for family trips. My dad died when I was 3-years-old, and my mom had to raise five kids on her own.
What did you do in South Dakota?
Both of my trips were to Canada. I spent a month in Montreal with my sister when I was about 20-years-old, I think. And then, I went back about two years ago for ten days and went to Montreal and to Toronto and Niagara Falls.
My husband and I want to plan a trip to South Korea when we get more financially stable again.

I've been to Florida. We took a day trip to Pensacola to the teach. It's only about a 2-hour drive or so from where I live.
That sucks, Liv. At least you have today and tomorrow.
Canada is beautiful, hummy. I really wouldn't mind moving there.
I thought it might have been Mt. Rushmore you went to. I love rose gold! I have a beautiful rose gold nail polish.
I don't think I would do good on a road trip. I get really bad anxiety riding in cars. I'd rather fly a plane to wherever I need to go.

I hope that I'll get time tomorrow to get on - the girls are both napping, which is why I'm able to get on right now. But I'm gone as soon as one, or both, of them wake up.

Darned play group and the things that get passed so easily from kid to kid! If only the girls didn't have fun at those things - but they do! Just having both sick at the same time is exhausting! Spa day to come for me hopefully soon! I need a break from my family - at least for a few hours.
Thanks! I'm ready for my two happy girls to be back - neither of them handle being sick very well. They're both very clingy.
How've you been?

Aw. I hope the kiddos get better soon. It sucks seeing little ones sick.
hummy - I am SUPER afraid of heights, but strangely, flying doesn't bother me that much. The turbulence can get a little scary, and I HATE the take-off and landing, but other than, it's pretty smooth sailing. I flew by myself every time.

First to Never Know: I hate it when my girls are sick. Thanks! I'm hoping that they'll be back to 100% soon! (They are on the mend, slowly.)
I got over my fear of flying at a young age as most of my summers growing up were spent in England and the fastest way to get there is flying. :]

Yeah, which is the reason we keep going.
Just having both of them sick at the same time makes me want to cry sometimes.
I hate seeing them sick, plus both are equally as demanding and there are two of them and only one of me. I do my best though.
That's good to hear! :]

What part of England?
My husband wants to go somewhere in that area. Wherever Claude Monet's house or whatever is...
