Mum's family lives in Bedford. :) Well they are starting to spread out a bit - but that's where mum was raised.

Monet's house is in France not England though.

The 100-sided dice lands on 36

Ah. I wasn't sure.

What is Bedford like? City or country?

Bedford a bit of both, plus it's just outside of London - not far by train, about a half hour out.
My tired brain is failing at explaining in good ways - I may need a nap.

Aw. I hope the kiddos get better soon. It sucks seeing little ones sick.

hummy - I am SUPER afraid of heights, but strangely, flying doesn't bother me that much. The turbulence can get a little scary, and I HATE the take-off and landing, but other than, it's pretty smooth sailing. I flew by myself every time.

you're so brave!
if the wheels aren't on the ground
i am all panicked and get sick.
one flight i had to be sedated!
i always worry i'll be on the six o'clock news!

I've found that having to fly with little ones stresses me out way more than flying used to stress me out. Traveling in general with kids is stressful.

The 100-sided dice lands on 75

I completely understand the anxiety. My thing is, though, that the pilots have less competition for air space. There are SO many wrecks, though, compared to plane crashes. I know there is at least one bad wreck a day where I live. Last week, a drunk driver hit a young woman and she's in intensive care. Then, a truck flipped over after being clipped by another car, killing the truck driver. Two days ago, there was a 3-car wreck involving a FedEx truck, and I know the FedEx guy. I used to give him free food all the time when I worked at Taco Bell. Yesterday, my friend's dad was hit while working, driving a dump truck. The woman tried passing him too closely and hit his wheels and completely demolished the side of her car.

I'm terrified of 18-wheelers, especially when on the interstate.

The only time I have no anxiety on the road is when I'm driving. I still have a little anxiety, but I'm better able to control it since I know that I'm in control.

I'd rather fly than drive - driving gives me horrible anxiety! I mean I can drive - but I prefer not to be the one in charge of driving if possible.

Really? I'm the opposite. I'd much rather be the driver. I'm such a control freak. I hate other people's driving. They speed up on people or don't slow down when I think they should or brake too quick and almost hit people... My husband and sister are both terrible drivers. I don't know why the military let my husband drive those big trucks.

My therapist thinks that the accident that killed my twin kind of has to do with my issues with driving - even though we know what caused that... and whatnot - it's deep rooted trauma that I associate with driving that makes it hard for me to want to drive. I'm working on getting through it, but it's slow going. (I wasn't there when he was killed, but it was the trauma of losing him... complicated..) I can drive if need be, I just don't like to drive.

Oh. I get that. I would be traumatized if I lost my twin in an abrupt manner like that.

Yeah - if I'm home alone with the girls and something comes up that means I'd need to drive - yes I could but most of the time I make Alex drive, which, thankfully - he's ok with doing.

Yeah - Alex is amazing. I also have some close friends near by in case I ever need anything too. And my parents only live an hour drive away. :)

Well, yeah - one positive thing. But it's been rough going on without him - it's taken me years to get to the point where I can talk about him like this without breaking down crying.
