I knew the deferral was coming just because this is my 20th donation so far this year and the FDA limits you on how many you can have for the year due to plasma loss. It's weird.

I don't sell my stuff, I donate it to the United Blood Services. Places that pay you for your plasma, platelets and blood cannot be used for human consumption (I know that sounds wrong, but the easiest way to say it) and are used for testing purposes. United Blood Services provides blood and other related components to the local area hospitals.
In fact, FDA doesn't like it when people switch back forth between selling and donating for non profit, so they have strict guidelines and rules for donating to people.
When you did your plasma what sort of questions did they ask you?

It depends on the princess. I usually prefer the rebel ones like Merida, Repunsel and Mulan. But my favorite Disney princess will always be Belle.

You can't sell your plasma if you've recently donated it either.

They ask things like sexual history, drug use, sexual orientation, if you've been out of the country, medical history (any heart disease, anemia, things like that), if you're pregnant or have been pregnant in the past 6 weeks, I think... That's the majority of it. I haven't sold plasma since December. I don't remember all the questions. You really only have to go through the big interview full of questions once and when you go back, you have a quick survey to see if anything has changed.
