Is the Shining a Stephen King movie?

First, that is correct. I really want to read the book. I have to admit though that so far only one of his books and movies has ever messed with me, and that would be "The Pet Semetary" You want to talk about scarring a person for life, that would be the movie for sure. When I read the book as an adult, I couldn't read it during the night, only during the day. Freaked me out that much.

Wow. I've never read any of his books, and I've only seen two of his movies, The Mist and one about aliens... I don't know the name. But I see how his books could scare you.

Pet Semetary was more a psychological scare for me. Whenever the kid would laugh I could hear it and it was creepy as all get out. Then there was the whole kid dying and that was freaky enough. The whole premise of the book just fucked with me.

Thinking the Shining will probably be similar, but ya never know.
I love suspense, especially psychological thrillers.

Psychological thrillers are nice. I haven't seen many, though. I've never been a big movie fan.

I've only read The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. I don't remember it very well, but I remember liking it.

My husband and I are very big into movies. Wouldn't quite classify us as Cinephiles, but damn close. Between the two of us we have certainly seen our fair share of movies.
Action Comedy, comedies, action, suspense, whatever strikes our fancy at the time.

Have to take a shower tonight. Kind of thinking how nice it will feel, being all squeaky clean and fresh.

I don't watch movies or shows that often. My lover and I do it occasionally, but we usually end up gaming instead. xD;

My husband and I don't have any gamin consoles. We've been talking about getting one. I watch a lot of TV shows. My husband watches a lot of movies. For a while, we were watching two movies together a night with no other distractions, but we haven't done that in a couple weeks. We should probably start again.

Rodd plays his PS4 and I watch him, or I will play my Xbox360 on the big television. We have two televisions in the front room, Rodd's 19 inch flat screen he won at a Wrestling Match a few years back, then there is the 55 inch flat screen monster. Love playing games on that thing.

You'll still catching me looking around the corners, trying to see things even though they are on the screen and I am a dork like that. Haha. My husband laughs at me when I play video games. Plus I get super emotional when I can't pass something and the frustration sets in and I start cursing like a mother fucker. He starts laughing even harder when my playing down grades to that level.

What are you playing, Grand Theft Auto?

Not Grand Theft Auto, Need for Speed, the latest one. You get to choose between being the cop and the racer. It's kind of fun to switch back and forth. Even got my dad to play it with me. Had a blast.

Sometimes I get that frustrated in real life, guess that makes me a not so fun person to be around. Can't be roses and sunshine all the time.

No one can be happy all the time. I just don't think games are worth being upset about. I mean I guess its funny to some people, but I don't really get it.

My husband bought me the game for Christmas. We didn't have a big Christmas exchange this year since we were on the poorer side, but what we got each other meant something special to the other, so that counts for a lot.
