First, It's just the media. They have blown it all out of proportion. I understand that there have been some cases that need to be brought out, but it is getting to the point that they are throwing stones before finding out the truth and then not correcting it once the information is released.

Pretty sure that there is a thing as a contraction or amending their story. They should be accountable for spreading malicious rumors or allegations before having all the facts. That's slander in the eyes of the court and for all that I am for the 1st amendment, there is a limit in my eyes. Drives me nuts that they get away with irresponsible journalism.

Not to get on a big soap box, but anytime I hear people talk ill of the Military I want to smack them and then ask them how much they like having the freedom to bitch about the people ensuring that freedom. Honestly, it almost feels like America is projecting. It goes and "saves" other nations to feel like a big hero and ignore its own internal issues. How about making minimum wage a liveable salary? How about allowing people to get an education without forcing them into loan slavery? How about reforming our medical system so that people don't have to choose between cancer treatment and saving their families from crippling debt or bankruptcy? How about making immigration laws better than a pile of fucking shit so it doesn't take ten years and thousands of dollars for people to get their fucking green card?

Fucking America.

I respect good men. That usually means I respect soldiers. But I complain about the military because we have no damn business pissing people off and pouring so much into defense spending when we can't even take care of ourselves.
