If only more people would chit chat. I mean items are important on a site like this, it does fuel the website, but it's not the most important thing.

That could be it - and real life may be sucking people in. I know a lot of people in this site, like me, started when we were younger and in school and now we are working in the real world = less time for mene D:

lol. Even housewive like my mum had been spending immense amount of time in playing Hayday.
Yet, with those amount of time spent on her phone, she still don't know how to change the ringtone, set wireless connection and so on. -__-;; kinda getting on my nerves!

I at least know how to maintain my computer! Even better than my brother. scary.

LOL It's funny how people know how to "use" technology but they really DON'T understand it XD

My poor grandmother is starting to lose it mentally - she has demensia ...she can't figure out how her phone works to save her life. Plus now she is starting to lose her sight...so she can't see the number she types into her phone and is constantly calling wrong numbers and insisting that people are just playing tricks on her because she KNOWS she typed in the correct number. D:

Maria; yup pretty much. I've noticed that throughout my journey of online avatar sites. And even back in the day. - neopets. haha I loved that website.

Don't forget the factor of summertime guys....summer means people go outside more, less time on the computer.

Mariaria, my mum had that 'suspicion' that people are playing tricks on her. Or to be more specifically, she felt that the whole world is against her. -__-;; When she accidentally decrease the ringtone volume, she would straight away blame other people messing with her phone out of spitefulness.

I never joined neopets - I tried to - but they never sent the confirmation email so I had an unconfirmed account and couldn't get into it. I only had one email address at the time and it was a lot harder back then to make a new one...so I just never joined XD

OMG My grandma did the same thing - she had no idea HOW she decreased the volume of the phone D: But she was sure someone did it to spite her.

Yeah. She is turning 90 this year - she is getting older. Her dementia is definitely getting worse. She was always prickly to begin with - but the dementia has made her REALLY mean so sometimes it's hard to be around her...I have to take everything she says with a grain of salt.

heh, my mom is more to paranoia, which I suspect. Her symptom matches the description.
