Opening Day Acts

1. My avatar is costumed as a dancer. She dances for coins to music during the night. To stand out from the crowd, she wears a lot of red. The color is her favourite because it shows others how bold she and afraid she is. She dislikes wearing shoes because they interfer with her dancing. The short skirt is also worn so that it would be easier to move around in while dancing. She doesn't belly-dance because she finds it fun, but tiring and she isn't an expert in that area at all. She's trying to learn, but it's really, really, really difficult. So, to earn money, she just dances to the beat and hope to earn some coins. Another reason she's not wearing any shoes or stockings is that she can't afford them. She tends to keep on getting holes in them because she dances so much. Because of all the waste, she can't afford it since she's not a professional dancer - she just dances in the street. Most of what she wears is bought or gifted by people that liked her dancing. Like the earrings, for example, were given to her by a rich aristocrat that was passing by and bought those earrings for her because those earrings reminded him of how bold, powerful, and full of life that her dances where like. She likes to keep her hair long because someone once said that her hair was so beautiful and mysterious during the night that it seemed to blend into the sky. Her favorite place to dance is in a field of clovers under a thicket of trees because she loves nature and four-leaf clovers are supposed to be lucky. Not to mention, dancing in a field of clovers is much softer than dancing on rough cobblestones. But, the rough cobblestones are where she makes her money and she tends to get less splinters there. She always wears this blood-red flower-like cloak because her grandmother gave it to her right before she died and said that the cloak would bring her luck and happiness. The box beside her is actually a little box that her pet, Peeby, lives in. People say that the little creature is an small evil devil, but that's not true. Peeby is actually a guardian that her grandmother left for her after she passed on.
