I've had my laptop since... 2005 or 2006. But for personal reason, it spent a good year or so in a pawn shop. :(

@Liz: Kinny's mom believes that the axis of the world will change in a big way-- bigger than the warning earthquake. And it will happen in 2012. *nod* She thinks this because the Mayan calendar has room for smaller changes and the like in it, and it stopped when they stopped being certain of what would happen anymore. *nod* She thinks that because of an Aspie's antisocial tendencies, they will hide away until things clear off, and then rebuild. She doesn't doubt that there will be non-aspie survivors, but aspies will likely have better chances in the new world.

I've probably had my laptop that long but it's only been heavily used since I started uni. My desktop computer just sits at home and gets dusty. -_-

Asperger's is mild autism. My Significant Other actually has "Pervasive Developmental Disorder- Not Otherwise Specified" which is a part of the "Autism Spectrum" and is sometimes known as "Atypical Autism". It's very low/mild on the scale, but gives us 'super fun' issues to work out, because of my depression, anxiety (panic disorder, ptsd, etc), borderline personality disorder...
Whenever I hear a complaint thrown my direction about being "awkward", I challenge hir to go find someone "normal". But xe doesn't want anyone normal... xe likes me. |
