Have you guys seen this Youtube Double Rainbow clip?

YouTube - Yosemitebear Mountain Giant Double Rainbow 1-8-10

My husband finds this hilarious, but me not so much.

So what do you guys think? Funny or no?

Dottie Mae Evans 07-14-2010 09:15 PM

I don't find it funny that much. It's just a Double Rainbow. I mean he is humourous, but still... it isn't like, "OMG! There is a Big Foot in my background!" kind of funny.

Entry: While Peter was waiting for his girlfriend, Katelyn, to finish getting ready for their date, her ten years old brother Calvin kept looking firmly at him.
”Why are you staring at me?” Peter finally asked, slightly irritated.
”I am waiting when you will finally pull out five dollars from behind my ear and give them to me,” came a serious reply.
”What? Why I would do that?” Peter felt bewildered.
”Well, all clowns do that.”
”I am not a clown!” he exclaimed.
”But daddy just said that the clown has arrived again and daddy is always right!” little boy explained.

Phew! I had never done this before, but it was kind of fun. x3 If there are any grammar errors, I apologize. D: English is not my native language.

Fulkth 07-14-2010 09:58 PM

Not really. I'm just wondering, was that guy laughing and crying at the same time; on pot or some kind of other drug; drunk out of his mind; having an orgasm, or just plain stupid?

Vexatious~Venom 07-14-2010 10:29 PM

I don't actually believe it! I copied over my entry for this! As crap as it may be I just lost 1000 words :gonk:

Ode to Afrodonkey

Oh Afrodonkey how the world loves you
You are no buffoon
With your sunglasses so cool
You totally rule
And with hair larger than life
Don’t worry; people won’t reach for the knife!

Oh Afrodonkey how the world love you
You make the world swoon
You might always break things
But still people sing
“You’re the best!”
“You beat the rest!”

Oh Afrodonkey how the world loves you
You speak in a weird tune
People say they don’t understand
“Make sense!” they demand
Oh why can’t they see?
This is what makes you free

Oh Afrodonkey how the world love you
You always remind them of the moon
Peeblo might steal your sparkle
And Yumeh might sit there and crackle
But that’s okay
You’re the greatest they say!

Oh Afrodonkey how the world loves you
If you disappear, it’ll be too soon
So funny and hilarious
You’re quite nefarious
You make people succumb
To you awesome HAWTSOME!

Oh Afrodonkey how the world loves you

I dunno how funny this really is... >> But I had fun writing. xD Poems aren't my thing normally.

TaiyoTsuki 07-14-2010 11:30 PM

...I don't get it.

Seito 07-14-2010 11:43 PM

Oh dear. xD That isn't good.

TaiyoTsuki 07-15-2010 12:16 AM

I don't read poetry that much, so it's not a huge suprise to me.

Seito 07-15-2010 12:28 AM

same here. I don't really read poems... and ones I do, I often get told I miss the meaning.

TaiyoTsuki 07-15-2010 12:29 AM

That's me. However, there is a poem I did a presentation on in English which gave me a bit of a headache reading because of the length; "The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner".

Seito 07-15-2010 12:33 AM

*looks it up*

Dear god, that's a long poem. Props to you for actually giving a presentation on it. That must have been a nightmare. You didn't have to memorize it did you?

TaiyoTsuki 07-15-2010 12:39 AM

No. It was in my English book, which I read it out of. I only read the first part, though!

I did a gender-bender!

Excellent! xD At least you didn't have to suffer through the whole thing.

Hahaha! I finish the drabble part.

There were times when Mr. Mayor wondered if he worked too hard.

This was one of the times.

Maybe he was coming down with a cold. He touched his forehead. No… he didn’t feel warm.

Still he glanced outside, nervously wondering what he did to deserve this. The nagging voice in his head already told him who he should blame for this. Finally he chalked it up stress.

After all there was no way Yumeh manage to get a giant cake to float above Mene, turn all running water in juice and fill his house full of sardines… right?

TaiyoTsuki 07-15-2010 12:57 AM

lol Poor Mayor.

Seito 07-15-2010 12:58 AM

xD He should really lie down sometimes.

TaiyoTsuki 07-15-2010 01:01 AM

Maybe we should sneak some sleeping potion into his coffee one of these days.....

Seito 07-15-2010 01:02 AM

And lock him in a closet full of talking moving vines that like to hug people?

TaiyoTsuki 07-15-2010 01:27 AM

No...that's be too evil!

Siri 07-15-2010 01:45 AM

Other than the entries being humor, there are no other major theme requirements, right?
I mean... do the entires have to relate to Menewsha?

Fulkth 07-15-2010 02:00 AM

Keyori looks way different....like a pretty white angel.

Keyori 07-15-2010 02:07 AM

I'm a fog machine >3>

It's for a contest.

I've seen the entries, and I'll put them up once I'm not trying to work in IE. It's just so frustratingly slow that I don't want to deal with it right now :gonk:

Siri 07-15-2010 02:07 AM

You're cosplaying as a fog machine? xD;

EDIT: I'm working on a drabble right now--it's so hard to do the word limit. ;____;
I like my story though.
