Pretty good!
Had a nice bbq picnic lunch at the park today and now am chilaxing. we need to go back out in a bit for drinks with jer's sis and her boyfriend who are visiting how are you? |
Doing good. We took my grandkids to the park earlier so they could visit with their mother since she isn't living here anymore. They really missed her. I wish I could say the same for her, but I don't know what's wrong with her. Maybe she does miss them, I don't know...I think she's going through a period of severe depression right now, personally. It's the only explanation I can come up with for the way she is acting, lately.

Oh that's not good. Is there anyway to get her into some kind of counseling?

Thulhu, she was seeing a therapist but apparently they put her on anti-depressants and told her she doesn't have to see the therapist unless she wants to. I think that's ridiculous...if someone is depressed and needs help, they should be encouraging her to seek help and not just put her on drugs.

Fizie: I agree with the therapy. When I first was diagnosed with depression I saw a counselor. They were able to explain a little about the feelings and suggest how to ignore the bad thoughts, and all sorts of helpful things. Even if not regular, just that little bit has stayed with me and even when really down, I remember that and know it's not really me, but that chemical imbalance. That's important to remember. I hope for the best And I'll put her in my prayers. |
