Don't put too many details in there, you don't want people to know ahead of time, and get an early start or anything. So..yeah >_<' You could probably edit it when the event starts, and like..now if needed. Hmm.. Also, put (Do not post) or something like that as the title, so people won't post..If they do, have a mod delete it ^^ |

Well..There's the banner, the rules and other such things, then description of the category, three places to put the categories where entries go, and... Then..Umm.. *thinks* I don't know, you might need one more or two more just in case. I'm sure you can ask a mod. We have one who posts here a lot(CK), so I'm sure she'll do it for you. |

Okay, I got my exam schedule. The event if supposed to go from the 18th to the 22nd, right? Well, I have exams on both the 18th and the 22nd x.x;; Plus, on the 22nd, despite me having no exams after that, my sister starts an online course, so I'd only be able to do one round (probably the final round) that day, unless I just move the time of that round to the prior day or something.
So, on those days, I might just do one round each, to make it easier on myself. But on the other days, I should be able to do the normal 2 rounds each, depending on participation. Plus, speaking of participation, of not many people show up at the time of a scheduled round (less than four people, probably), I'll just skip doing it then or something; I'm not entirely sure. |

That would help out, but right now I need to check out a rumor I've heard around campus.
Last year, they said they'd stop releasing us early (at 1:30-ish) after exams, but rumor has it(and I've heard teachers talk about it too) that they'll still be letting us. So, I won't try to count it out until then. Either way, pop culture has me beat, as far as finding questions go. So, I'll just change that to Current Events or World News, and make it off of that stuff xD |
@Suteki: You can always elect not to run trivia rounds on days you should be concentrating on school. :) Or you can elect a sort of 'deputy' to run rounds when you should be doing other things. XD
Please PM me with any threads you have finished for the Menewshaversary Event so I can move them... that way I don't miss them if they're linked here. XD; I try to keep up with everything, but I don't want to accidentally miss anything! |
@CK: I know that I want to do at least one round per day, since I know that I'd have time for that. It's just that I don't want to try to do two rounds, since the exams that I have this semester are pretty important (aka, if I fail Civics, I fail the grade, and I really suck at that class x.x;; Plus, if I do well on French, I might have a chance at Governor's School).
The deputy idea does sound pretty good, but then they wouldn't be able to participate in a round that day. I'm trying to figure everything out. Would anyone that is running an event be willing to be a "deputy" of sorts for the 18th? The 22nd is the last day of my exams, so I would probably be able to run the scheduled two. Though I'd have to ask that you don't let any of the answers/questions that I'd PM you in advance out anywhere :s Don't want cheating. |

I'd be glad to take it over, seeing as we don't seem to have enough prizes for a raffel. As long as we can find some others to help judge i'd be more than willing to take it over.
I have an idea for the award as well. let me know if you still need the award or some one to run it please |
Kyoko I might need two prizes... for second and third place for my contest. Maybe like 750 gold? I mean if there is extra... Oh and do you guys think it is too much of a restriction if I say that all avatars for my contest need to fit the theme of masquerade and or yumeh and use the event colors: blue, gold and green?

ok, i'll send you some gold. i've been selling ci's for cahrity, but giving it out for prizes is a good cause as well
