It'd be nice n__n;;

I know that I'll be home by 2pm EST the day that it starts, so any time around/after that works for me.

But I dunno, you'd also have to have a mod to create the subforum and move all of those threads to there, and then unlock the subforum for everyone. So it would have to go along with when they can get to it o.o;

Titenya 01-16-2008 11:01 PM

I don't know, it would be nice for a change, the 4pm start is late for me, since i leave work most fridays any where between 4:30 and 6... and I know i won't be home untill late friday night so I may not be able to get online. Though since it's a contest it will be stickied... and they can pm me or any of the othere helpers arround if they need help... I just don't want people to think I've abandoned them... *is going out on a date on friday, something which she and her fieance haven't done since they moved in together*

CK 01-17-2008 06:03 AM

If you guys want to request a subforum "early", then I suggest you approach JellySundae or Jurupamae about doing so. Regular Staff do not have the ability to make sub-forums.

fuyumi_saito 01-17-2008 01:35 PM

That would be nice... I would be too afraid to ask though...

Titenya 01-17-2008 01:44 PM

I think it would be a good idea, and I don't mind asking. What time is every one comfortable with it starting at? I would say 2pm eastern at the latest, but that's my preferance, any one else have a sugestion?

and i apologise for making a big thing about my "date" but it's rare that my fieance wants to go out, and i won't be seeing him for 2 weeks because he'll be house sitting for his parents (why they are going on vacation in january, I don't know.. but it's about a 2 hour drive down there so he's just gonna stay there for the 2 weeks)

fuyumi_saito 01-17-2008 01:57 PM

Aww.. That's sweet.. Anytime is fine with me. it's this week, and I don't start school till next week ^^

Titenya 01-17-2008 02:22 PM

ok. i'll wait untill later this afternoon, to see if any one else has any feedback on this.

fuyumi_saito 01-17-2008 02:27 PM

*Nods* I hope you have a good time with your fiancee ^^. So many people on here are engaged. >_<'

I guess it just shows you the maturity level of this site.

Ti 01-17-2008 02:39 PM

Well I'm only 23... that's not too old i guess *shrugs... then points out this is Phe's mule who's on a shopping spree with Phe's gold* and Jared's just 21. date night now looks like dinner and renting a movie, since all the good movies are no longer at the theater by us... *wanted to see sweenytodd* I guess i can wait for it to come to dvd...

fuyumi_saito 01-17-2008 02:48 PM

That sounds nice still. ^^.. Hmm.. Well.. There aren't a ton of 10-13 year olds on here like gaia. Probably because of the fact that you can't spam or something..

Ti 01-17-2008 03:10 PM

most likely... Though some of my friends on here are younger, though when you sign up and on the privacy statement it says this site is not for people under 13. It also dosn't have the cutsie flash games and chat rooms that draw the younger crowd in ^_^ and the spam this is another deturant. though when i was that age (if i had a computer... my family didn't get a computer w/ internet untill i was in highschool) I still would have fit in better here. well i liked gaia how it was back in '03... but it's changed way too much, and after i was hacked no one has even sent me a message to say we are looking into that for you... it kinda makes you think that they don't even care if you are on there or not... unlike here where users run events! it's such a nice change

fuyumi_saito 01-17-2008 03:26 PM

A good change ^^ lol.. I stopped going to gaia..because the threads just moved too fast.. I don't want a chat room here. This is a forum, not a chat place, meaning it has more..depth I suppose.^^

Kyoko Otonashi 01-17-2008 06:41 PM

so is everyone set on prizes?

fuyumi_saito 01-17-2008 06:49 PM

Yeah, already talked to Juru(Thanks again!) awhile ago, so I'm all set on that ^^

Ti 01-17-2008 06:53 PM

yup, been ready for a while, but i got a bonus prize today so i'm happy, and i hope my contestants will be as well ^_^

Suteki 01-17-2008 06:57 PM

I have all of my prizes. I'm thinking of having a second place prize, and I'm not sure about a third place (for the final round). I'd just need to figure out what it could be.

But yeah, just as long as the event tomorrow starts around now/later than now, I'm fine with the timing.

nike13 01-17-2008 07:48 PM

Sorry I kept disappearing recently, work has been keeping me busy and I've begun planning things out for my wedding so things are a little tight on time (this is actually why I didn't volunteer to manage a contest, I knew January would be a crazy month).

I just wanted to wish everyone luck, I'm sure the event will go wonderfully and I'm really excited for it. I'll be popping in tomorrow sometime after work (so basically around midnight).

Candiie 01-17-2008 08:55 PM

kinda uneasy on the prizes. if anyone has something that they don't want or use anymore. send them to my mule "soroku" and i'll use it as a prize n__n

Xoverly_sarcasticX 01-17-2008 09:29 PM

Hello ^^

I'm a newbie xP
As you can see.

Who is Yumeh?

Ti 01-17-2008 09:31 PM

Yumeh is an npc on this site, he's a black cat. He has a bit of a chip on his shoulder, but over all he's pretty cool. He's kinda like out mascott.

Karine 01-17-2008 11:51 PM

Yay, only one more day! <3

Titenya 01-18-2008 12:04 AM

Jelly says that if we want to open early thats fine since we are running the event. Is 2pm eastern time ok with every one, that's about 2 hours earlier than the events usually open at.

thats earlier than when i get home from school, which might be a problem.. >___<

CK 01-18-2008 12:15 AM

We can always keep threads locked or not move the ones that don't have online people to handle them. :'

What's convenient for one person will be inconvenient for another person. (Particularly when you factor in time zones and life status.) As it happens, I don't work at all tomorrow, so it doesn't bother me one way or another.

Suteki 01-18-2008 12:18 AM

2pm EST is fine for me, as I've said, but that's the earliest it could be for me n__n;;

Would it be posted somewhere on the front page though, after everything is settled, so everyone would know without having to search the posts?
