Who is running the trivia contest? I do to recent events have to stand down on my proposition to host it. I may not be available due to recent events. All though I am here to help with ideas and such.

I wanted at least one category (probably the one on the actual Meneversary) to be about Menewsha, the others would probably be life based.
But I wouldn't do specific history, since each place tends to learn different aspects, etc. |

I really hope there is an item contest.. I've been working really hard on these three items. Two are dresses...And the other one is a secret. It looks really good too...It took so long, all the layers T_T It was worth it though and it might be better for summer XD
Though I'm actually doing a complete set sort of thing. Male and female. I'm still working on it. |

I am running the pixel art contest. I have offered help to whomever want to do the sketching/drawing art contest, but I refuse to do it by myself.
As I am supplying to prizes, which is going to be pure gold, I frankly can't handle two contests. |
What are some birthday games/traditions that you guys know of?
It doesn't matter at what age group or what country/region/culture of origin it is from - share anything you can think of that we might be able to convert into an event of some sort. :3 I can think of one - blowing out the candles on a cake. It'd be something like the old "how many jellybeans in a jar" lottery game. People can 'guess' how many candles someone can blow out on a cake in one breath... and then someone actually blow out candles and see how many went out. XD I'm just suggesting it in case someone wants to use it. XD No one has to. XD |
When I was younger, my grandpa would always get me a pinata! ^^ It was fun.

A piñata sounds like fun! I wonder how we could adapt that to our purposes...
Actually, an easy enough way is for someone (perhaps myself if the idea is popular but no one else wants to volunteer) to draw up a piñata and some candies to go into it and randomly hand out the different candies as signature banners, just for fun. Unless someone has a more interesting way to handle the piñata...? |
I was thinking along the lines of a guessing game for the pinata.
Like how many candies inside? Or how many whacks would it take to open it? Or even just have a little word game where people can just post *whack* (like they are hitting the pinata), and just randomly hand out a little candy pet to some people. |
If we did a "*shack*" thing, it'd have to go into the word-games forum, seeing as it's basically just spam... But I think posting *whack* (along with something contributing to discussion) should be a requirement to getting a piñata prize. XD; Because it's funnier. :B

So are you saying we can have an item contest for fun, or not ^^'' You're kind of sending mix messages and I'm confused. If I was the one who was quoted, when I was saying my item would be better for summer, that was really because it would be around winter, and it would look odd to have my item in a contest in winter, when it looks the way it does XD

The Yumeh theme sounds really interesting, but it's the anniversary of Menewsha and not just Yumeh...hmm.. decisions, decisions. xD
