Trinity doll won(Though she's already rich, gods.. Look at her outfit :shock: Drop dead expensive..) and Temarigirl.. Wonder if Kyoko's even on..lol

Cami 01-19-2008 10:57 PM

Trinity Doll didn't win. She edited her post. In the original, there was no mask.

So, the girl after her won.

fuyumi_saito 01-19-2008 10:59 PM

Oh! Okay.. Lol.. Then.. That is.. no idea. I'll go recheck. Kyoko needs to update her first post, but I think she's busy today >_<

Thanks! I found it on a forum where a guy was offering his free for use.. I forgot which forum though. :oops:

CK 01-20-2008 12:56 AM

I'll help get this thread closer to page twenty-two. XD

Is there a topic for discussion?

Ancasta 01-20-2008 01:00 AM

I didn't see one. :( I can't wait for the twentieth page, though. Even if I'm not the first to post, I'm still posting the picture I found 'cause it looks awesome.

CK 01-20-2008 01:04 AM

You mean the 22nd page, right Anacasta? XD Or did I read the first page wrong? @[email protected] I need to double-check that. D:

We can always make up our own topic. XD

Like... Uuh... "What do you think of when you hear the word 'masquerade'?"

or

"If you were at a masquerade ball - would you go for a ball gown/suit and a mask - or would you go for something more outlandish?"

Karine 01-20-2008 01:07 AM

Oh! i know a topic that we can discuss:
"How to fix a chair that a screw fell out of from somewhere after you leaned back in it."
Since that just happened to me. xD;; And it's my sister's chair.

Ancasta 01-20-2008 01:09 AM

Yes I did! >.< Sorry, I was looking at something with a zero in it while I was typing and yeah. That never ends well.

Honestly, when I hear masquerade I think of vampires. I don't know why, except that perhaps I first saw a masquerade ball in a vampire movie. Or it could be the Anne Rice I O.D.ed on as a teen. XD

As for costume.. if money was not object, I think I'd go for outlandish and unrecognizable. Most of the fun, to me anyway, would be dancing around in your costume knowing that no one knew who you were.

Karine: Oh dear. :shock: Find a screwdriver quick?

CK 01-20-2008 01:14 AM

@Karine: LOL. Ack. D: Are you okay? XD;; You didn't fall, I hope!

I say - once you figure out where the screw came from on the chair, locate a screwdriver and put it back in. XD; And if you can't figure out where it came from, go to someone unlikely to get cranky that you located a loose screw and have them help you repair it. XD;

Yikes. >_>

@Ancasta: Vampires. XD Well, there's the game "Vampires: The Masquerade" so that may be part of it. XD And I think there was a dancing scene or two in, "An Interview With A Vampire". (If not, there was certainly the correct costuming for what I think of for a masquerade ball...) And in the Dracula movie (with the guy who was Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies, IIRC), there was a ball!

So I do get where you're coming from. XD

Nah - in this scenario, money is no object. XD You can have the most awesome costume in the world. XD The limits are your imagination, and so on. XD

I agree that the whole point is to not be 'yourself' at a masquerade ball. :3 So I'd go for something wonderful and mysterious as well.

Any particular theme for your fantasy costume? :3

Karine 01-20-2008 01:17 AM

No, i'm fine. The chair didn't fall apart or anything, but now i'm scared to sit in it because it might fall. >____<;;
i'm pretty sure my dad can fix it. xD
i tried looking for where it came from, but no luck yet. >_O

CK 01-20-2008 01:21 AM

@Karine: Yeah... the odd thing about life is that if you can't immediately tell where the missing part came from, it's sometimes like it wasn't needed at all. @[email protected];

Ie: "if you didn't topple over and hurt yourself, the screw was probably not meant to support the chair, so you should be fine. :D"

Until, of course, it happens anyway because people don't put in screws just for giggles. XD;;;

Anyway - good luck finding where the screw goes. XD; And I'm glad you didn't fall. XD;

Ancasta 01-20-2008 01:22 AM
