Peter Pan was my childhood boyfriend. Even though I'm eighteen years old, I'm still such a child, and I hope and pray every night he'll come to whisk me off to Never Never Land -- sadly, I hate that it's all folklore.
I've had enough dreams in my lifetime about being whisked off there though. Had some interesting adventures in that little treehouse he lives in. As for a look for him, I love the generic Disney style. . . His newer look in the sequel movie, Return to Neverland, looks a lot fresher and prettier than the old 1950s movie, but I'm still fond of that film because it was the original that got everything started. You know which one I'm talking about, right? The green clothes, the auburn-red hair, green cap with a red feather in it? And of course, we can't forget Tinkerbell fluttering around him. :3 I'm so happy I get credited, too. I didn't really DO anything, I just reminded you of him. XD; |

I hope I do him justice when I draw him for the shop. And that someone DOES adopt him if ever. Since I'm going to try and cater to a lot of tastes and such, I'm going to be drawing out a list of characters, drawing them all -see that's why I can't achieve that all in less than a month- armor, statistics and such then hope someone gets adopted. =_____= Kapoosh. I haven't watched the recent adaptations unfortunately so I'll take your word for it. I do know the older one... Have you watched the old 80s' Japanese adaptations of the common stories and fairy tales? It was fairly popular for quite sometime: Sarah the Little Princess, Secret Garden... There was even Peter Pan. I remember seeing it before. :D I watched it while waiting for the mecha anime that followed after on BS2 on cable. >w< |
I haven't even HEARD of the 1980s adaptations of them. o_o I love the Secret Garden; it's one of my favorite books. It's been so long since I read it, though.
And you can bet that I'LL ADOPT HIM, if anyone else doesn't. I love Peter so much -- now you've got me curious as to going to find those Japanese animated ones of him. :o I bet that would make me really happy. :DDD |

Thinking about them right now got me goosebumps on my skin. >w<; It was the era of manga like anime. Are you familiar with Georgie and Bara no Versailles? Those sorts of coloring styles and stuff. I'm such a fan of how they animated Patalliro -old anime- It seriously looked like moving manga slides... Or Bara no Versailles. The sparklies, dramatic stills and roses.
