I think over an hour is too long. It means I'm dilly dallying. The one I colored took only an hour to ink and sketch but the conceptualizing...the agony and everything = under forty eight hours.
I was rushing Harleth for a contest and managed to bag second prize. It was really something. I never thought I'd ever place. Much to the annoyance of someone who was hoping to place since it had been such a long while---I don't know. I don't think she's ever won anything and then poof I suddenly join out of nowhere and then place. Hmm. O___o; I can get very very passionate so I finish quickly. So yes...I'm better off when I'm feeling amazing and all that since I can get my act together better. But recently I'm getting slower... I dilly dally and I don't seem to be feeling like I'm getting things right now. Actually, tenten, I didn't quite get what you mean by that comment. But yes I know. If you commission someone, you pay appropriately. Or pay them for how much they say would do stuff even if you think/feel that they should get more. But then technique for cheap is always a good thing especially if you're under budget or just a plain cheapskate. D: |
