86 episodes? o__o; I'm pretty sure it's only 26 episodes or so that I recall.

even if you will teach english, you still need to use japanese to go around anyway. so I think you will pick up here and there! it's one of the best way to learn a language too, go to that country and live for awhile XDD

That's probably one of my favorite series that is completely serious (no humor at all! Unless you count the OVA which is terrible).

I watched it a long time ago, but basically it's animated in the older Astroboy-esque style and it's about a robot boy and his search to discover who he is more or less. ^^;

Yeah it is a big list. Right now I have a little over 30 gigs of anime on my laptop. Heh, heh. ^^;

That makes much more sense. XD I own all of Kenshin because I bought it in two halved boxsets.

Only the daughter (she was 20 years old) spoke some English, but the rest didn't speak much at all, especially my host parents. ^^; But they were so friendly and helpful I had a lot of fun trying to explain or ask things even if it was challenging sometimes.

Kyoto was so amazing, but we could only visit a handful of temples and shrines. But we did get to see the Kinkoku-ji Temple. :3 That was especially pretty!

@Dystopia: I haven't learned Go, though I hear it's hard, but I definitely can't express how beautiful Kyoto was. :0 We visited a lot of shrines/temples and it was so green. *melts*

I agree with you. :3 I like manga more than anime typically, but there are some that I prefer animated (like FMA and Bebop).

Manga also are more convenient for me. XD; I don't spend as much time watching TV as I used to.

I'm pretty sure we picked our Kenshin at Otakon one year, probably about 4 years ago at least.
