Welcome to August and the release of this month's Contribution Items! This month brings to you the magic and beauty of the animals of The Chain! We present to you the exotic Eyes of the Wild and fanciful Kitsune and Caboodle!

Kitsune and Caboodle

Whether you would like to cuddle foxes or would rather be one yourself, there's something for you in this item!

Mrs. Caboodle and her children are available for you to play with in plush form. You may equip them in any of four poses (held upside down, dropped on the ground, relaxing at your feet, or wrapped around your neck like a fox stole).

For those who would much rather be a fox, you are able to wear their ears, have closed kitsune eyes, wear a fox muzzle, and even equip one of two bushy fox tails. (Please note that to equip the kitsune eyes, you should go to your avatar screen and use the "toggle eyes" button.)

Eyes of the Wild

Everyone will be talking if you equip the Eyes of the Wild! Eyes from many of your favorite creatures of The Chain are represented in this set. Choose from: whalecow, lion dog, fox, owl, purple and teal hippocamp, chimera, bunnyfish, basilisk, adult phoenix, juvenile phoenix, kaze-ten, dragon, and octi.

Look through the world through a different set of eyes and you'll see how exciting it can be! (Please note that to equip any of the eyes in this set, you should go to your avatar screen and use the "toggle eyes" button.)

Eyes L to R: basilisk, octi, kaze-ten, bunnyfish, lion dog, whalecow, adult phoenix, dragon, juvenile phoenix, chimera, purple hippocamp, owl, teal hippocamp and fox.

To obtain these exciting Contribution Items, visit the Contribute tab and use PayPal or credit card. If you don't have either, you can also donate via snail mail. If gold is your only option, you'll want to check the Exchange forum. But don't be enthralled by these items for long - these items will only be available until August 31st.

The fantastic pixel work was accomplished via the combined talents of Tre le Coco, Bisque and wish04. The adorable CI artwork was produced by the very talented Omi.

The kitsune is really adorable, but I must admit I am excited for the eyes! Wee~<3 for more choices.
I can really see the eyes being but into play really really soon. And if I get a job or come into money soon, I am sure both would be a great investment.
I will have to play with them myself before I give a better review though. ::waits for esme's trade:: xD

I'm still debating how I feel about the eyes. I didn't think much at first glance, but the more I look at them, the more some of them are really standing out to me. I'll have to try them out and see.

Hmm... I should probably say something more constructive than that though. xDD;;

Umm... the Kitsune and Caboodle item is SO adorable! :3 I wish I could see the pose for the other tail (as it said the image on the first post says that the only one of the tails are shown xDD), but I love the way it's pixelled~ :'D I can definitely see this going far, like how the Yumeh Cat Ears and Tail are very popular now despite being part of a relatively cheaper EI group. =)

As for the Eyes of the Wild... some look a little strange to me, but generally I love the option for more eye contacts! :3 I can also see this as a big investment in the future. ^^ Bigger than the previous months' CI's, at least. >;]

Overall, good job this month! :'D <3<3 Well, you guys always come up with good CI's anyway, but I'm impressed a little more than usual right now. ^^ So, yay to you guys! :3 <3<3

Not shown in the previews but you can get some really cool effects by wearing normal eyes (not toggling the regular eyes off) and wearing the Eyes of the Wild CIs over the regular eyes. :yes:

I know, they're nothing too original, but sometimes that's still really nice. Lots of people have been dying for fox items for ages and the eyes will be fun to play around with as well.

I like how none of the items are too overwhelming. I think that's been a problem with some of the more recent CI's--they eat up the the avatar and always become the center of attention, unless you equip some of the accessory poses. Here, even if you equip some of the main poses (tail ears and fox tail), you can still make an outstanding avatar without having the CI portion be too prominent. I dunno... does this make any sense? With weapons or the Peeblo for instance, if you equip the main part of the CI, your eyes are always drawn to it and it's harder to make other parts of your avatar to stand out quite as much.

But yes, these CI's are made of win. :D
