On the sweet side, Perfect Pastries awaits you with a pâtissier's opus or a Sweet Lolita's dream in a confection explosion. On the other, join the Phoenix Honor Guard and equip yourself to defend the hearth and home with the Phoenix Crossbow.

Phoenix Crossbow

The Phoenix Honor Guard is an old heroic tradition. Every one of them is trained to defend the island in the ways that suit them best. However, in honor of the island's avatar, the phoenix, each must be able to "let fly" in defense of their home. Crossbows thus became the default part of the Phoenix Honor Guard's training, since it takes less to train someone to use a crossbow properly than a traditional bow and arrow.

The Phoenix Crossbow Contribution Item comes complete with: ceremonial red and orange enameled crossbows, every-day use crossbows in rosewood and gold foil trim, a ceremonial phoenix feather cape, an alternate feather cape, arrows, and thigh-mounted quivers in either ceremonial or every-day colors.

Perfect Pastries

Somewhere out there, there is a mad pastry chef, binding talents of food and fashion together to create these spectacular treats! Even those without a sweet tooth may enjoy the silky textures and layering possibilities.

The Perfect Pastries Contribution Item contains: a strawberry clasp to be worn at the neck, a strawberry hairclip to be worn singly or as decoration for a hat or other head accessory, a choice of chocolate and cream hat or cream and strawberry hat, their choice of either chocolate, strawberry or cream silk hair ribbon, a shoulder cape of chocolate with cream trim or a strawberry cape with cream trim, and one of two skirts with cream and berries - one with chocolate and one without. There are also pastry-laden tables and teacups to hold in case you need a sip of something lovely.

To obtain the Phoenix Crossbow and Perfect Pastries Contribution Items, you will first need to purchase some Mennies using either PayPal, credit card, SMS/text, or by sending an order via snail mail. Once you have your Mennies, take a trip over to our CI Shop and trade your Mennies for the items you would like! If gold is your only option, wander over to the Exchange forum or Marketplace. Whichever method of grabbing these items, you'll want to hurry before these items leave the CI Shop forever on December 31st!

Harpy Feather Shoulder Cape

Instead of golden eagles or phoenix feathers, this particular cape came from the harpy hens with the most beautiful dusty brown feathers imaginable.

I found them exceedingly difficult to negotiate with, so supplies are limited, of course.
