Now I haven't noticed this so much on Menewsha yet (maybe because I'm on a sort of hiatus right now really), but I don't think it's happened too much yet.

I'm talking about my right to complain. My right to be disappointed if I miss out on an opportunity or fail in an event. And my right to express that in a calm manner. I'm not talking about wailing and weeping, cursing those who did win etc, and saying that something was a fix. I'm talking about just saying 'damn, my luck is bad' or even 'Bah, guess I have to try again.'
Really, does everything we have to type online have to be sanitised and cheerful? For fucks sake, we all have emotions, and being able to express them without being made to feel like you're a whiny two year old would be nice.
If I'm angry, I'm going to BE angry. If I'm frustrated, then I'm going to be upset and say so!
If people want to be all sunny even when something goes wrong fair enough, bottle those feelings up and enjoy that ulcer.
But you would be a damn liar if you sat there and claimed that you NEVER EVER feel anything other than happiness.

Haha... that's pretty understandable. It's like, people attack you if you're negative. Not easy.
