That's alright. xD I've got college orientation and stuff that I'm going to have deal with this summer, so I would only really be able to reply whenever I've got a spare moment. xP
I'm going to be gone for the next few days, in fact, to take some placement tests so I can figure out what classes I'll need to take come August. :/
Getting into character gets easier the more you post with a given character. All you really have to do (well, all I do, anyway) is choose three words that describe how you want your character's personality to be and then try to stick with it. It's even better when the character you use is one that you've had (and have been developing) for a little while. c:
As for my convo with Cupcake, you aren't bothering us. xD Princess Cupcake's at school I think, so I'm not sure that she'll be able to respond for a while anyway. c:
You don't have to plan everything out, but it certainly helps. ^^ Things kinda start to get boring if you don't keep adding plot twists and drama and stuff in the mix, so having a plot available really helps. c:
Well, that's where the plot comes in. ^^ Generally, after one decides on the genre they wish to roleplay, they working on coming up with a basic idea for the direction in which they want the roleplay to go and how to get there.
In the case of the roleplay that I'm in, my character and my RP partner's character are childhood friends that have only recently been able to see each other again (my partner's character moved to the Island of Menewsha and they bumped into each other on the docks). She added a twist to the plot in that there will be some rival of hers from back in the day that will pop up and mess everything up temporarily, but for the most part, everything's pretty flexible. :0
Everybody does. xD I have the bad habit of not going back and checking my work before I post it so I've almost always got grammatical or spelling errors or weird sentences that make no sense. x.X
Hmm..I usually play male characters, an I tend to gravitate toward genres that deal with Fantasy or Magic. c: I'm pretty flexible, though, and have lately started a one-on-one based around our Menewshan avatars.
Everybody has a creative streak, I think. That is one of the beautiful things about humans; we are designed to create (be it in our minds or in the physical world).
It really just takes practice. :0 If you like reading, you could probably roleplay. x3 You've got the grammar and spelling down, anyway..
I think that the maximum amount of gold a person recieves for a post is only 20 coins. x3 Most people tend to advertise for more than one roleplay because of this (and it works, too; some of the richest people on the site frequent the roleplaying forums).
No imagination? Hardly. xD Every time I see you post on the Fresh Meat Forum to greet someone, you always provide a detailed paragraph or two. That takes some imagination, I think. P:
