Hah, same pretty much, which is why it took me a week to respond to this. 8D I'm kinda on every now and then, mostly lurking around and seeing if anything new is happening. :ninja:
Oh I'm so happy for you! That's exciting news! Have you set a wedding date yet? Or are you engaged and just waiting for a while before you marry?
I'm not even sure if I WANT to teach anymore. I really, truly, hated my internships my last year. I dreaded going to school everyday. So in a way, not finding a job has been sort of a blessing. I have had time to think about what I want to do. I'm really considering going back to school to earn my master's in something completely different (I'm looking into nonprofit management as an option).
I did think about teaching other subjects but that would mean studying and passing the certification exams for the other subjects. You can't teach without a liscence in the subject you are teaching, unfortunately! And the tests are really expensive D:
Fast food is....eh. I used to work at Taco Bell a few years ago and I absolutely loved it. I now worked in a KFC/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut express (three in one XD) and I really don't enjoy it that much - but I just don't like it because I can't stand our new manager. When I got hired I loved it, but then the manager moved away and the assistant took over and let the power go to her head. NO ONE likes it. The assistant managers are both planning to leave soon as well as some of the employees that have been there for 3+ years. I feel like if we didn't have her, it would be better. But I do like working...like...9-5...different things every day...always on my toes. I don't know, I feel like working in a business...that just sounds exciting! Whether it's where I am now or somewhere else, I just didn't enjoy having to teach all day long XD
