Well, at 16 we're also legally allowed to drive :). You need to have your permit for quite a few months though before you can get your actual license. Minimum wage is about the same, but minimum wage is going up here soon to $10 per hour :D.
Hmm.. you can get an abortion without anyone having to know here.
We have taxes, but it all goes towards the good of the city - road repairs for example. That's only where I live though. If you moved to Calgary, Alberta they don't have taxes :D but things are more expensive there. I guess it all evens out in a way. Gas is around 99 cents right now. We also have this thing called airmiles, I'm not sure if the US has it or not, but it's something we can use when we purchase things at stores and it builds up points on it. You can save your airmiles to go on free trips :) it's pretty cool. We used ours to go to disney world once. That's all I can think of o.o anything else you're curious about? ^^
Well, I'm not really familiar with American laws since I haven't lived there but, I know you can't legally drink until I think.. 19? I don't drink so I'm not positive. Um, what kind of laws/rules are you curious about?
And thank you :D I'll start customizing it now I think :).
Ahh :). I think you should move to Canada. All places are different though. If you want a busy and lots of action, go to Toronto. If you're looking for friendly people and a nice environment, Nova Scotia is amazing and has A LOT of nice green grass :D. You'll notice the difference xD. Spring is nice here, Summer is hot, fall is gorgeous, and winter.. well personally I don't like it. I doubt anyone does.
Anyways, if you're a really outdoorsy kind of person, I recommend Manitoba. There's TONS of nature activites to go on there so it's a pretty good time. New Brunswick is nice, a lot of pioneer tourism and cruise-ships. You'll see seals :D. And Alberta, you'll see buffalo wandering around in certain parts <3. Edmonton Alberta has an AMAZING shopping mall/theme park called West Edmonton Mall. It's HUGGEEE. It was a water park and a theme park inside of it and lots of activities. Of course it's also a huge shopping mall too with 2-3 levels. They used to have dolphin shows there too but that changed a few years ago when one of the dolphins died D: so they let the other go. But anyways, Alberta is AMAZING. Lmao sorry for ranting about all these different places xD. But I think if you did move to Canada, you most definitely wouldn't regret it.
