I am 21. A little old to be living with the mum, i know... ^^;

Yeah well, there's nothing I can do about it except dream of the day I finally get a job, move out, and get some dogs of my own.

Nah, mom's not allergic. We used to have 2 dogs and she felt that I didn't do a good enough job of taking care of them. Mind you I wasn't the best, but I fed, watered, and loved them to death. The only things I didn't do was walk them very much. Mom gave them away, or so she told me, merely because they wouldn't stay out of some flower garden that mom was planting. (It's not their fault she decided to plant them in their shady summer spots) I later found out from my sis, who overheard my mom, that she actually had them both put down. This was years ago. The irony of all this is that the flower garden is no longer there.
