Yeah, that's true ^^ Malaysia is amazing! My father only came here to study xD
But anyway, you should visit Malaysia InshaAllah, although it depends on where you go...Most tourists love the capital city, Kuala Lumpur, but for me, that's just another (more developed) version of London...My father is originally from Kelantan which is nicknamed the "Cradle of Islam" because it's the most religious state...It's the countryside and the views are amazing! But seriously, if you ever plan to visit, I suggest you go to Kelantan ^^ <3
Her step-mother was Christian, but not practising, and she was leaning more towards Islam anyway after she met my grandfather, so my mum was still raised as she would have been :3
Yeah, she lived in many different countries growing up xD
Oh, it would have been so interesting to take Korean!! But yes, I think French is nearing English as a the second universal language :D I took French for GCSE (and have no excuse to fail since my mum speaks it) xDD
Wassalam <3 And yeah! I haven't met any other Muslims here xD
Haha! Yay! Usually when I tell people IRL that I'm Malaysian, they're like "whut? Is that a type of food or something?"...That's how rare we are here! I'm the only Malaysian in my school xD But yeah, alot of Malaysians tend to go to Canada to study. The uber smart ones anyway! xD
Yes, InshaAllah :D But I know that in the end, my parents would be happy as long as I am xD Plus, my mum is pretty open-minded about it since she pretty much grew up in a Western society with an American step-mother who raised her from the age of four xDD
Lol! Wow! Really?! That would be pretty shocking to see! Fluently?! I really want to learn how to speak Urdu! I want to learn alot of languages! My mum is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Malay and yet I only speak English, Malay, a little bit of French and some Arabic.
Wow, that's so cool! It's not TOO far from here xD
Oh, so your father is Pakistani and mother is Korean? I see :D
Haha, it does...But it makes sense :D xD My dad is the same, he would rather I married a Malaysian man, I don't think he'd be too overjoyed if I announced one day that I wouldn't be! But ultimately he wouldn't mind too, his grandfather was Turkish!
Ooh! You were born here?! Awesome! (Essex is close enough! xD) So how old were you when you moved to Canada?
And yes, I am ^^ xD
I know, she really is beautiful (Mashaallah), she inherited her fathers dark skin and her mothers eyes O:
Awhh!
Yeah, definitely. I have a Pakistani friend who asked her mum as a joke "Motherr, what would you say if I married an African guy?" And her mum was really surprised and started shouting in Urdu...I just understood something about how it would kill her? Or she would kill the daughter? I don't know xDD
I haven't met many Koreans...I mean, not IRL, especially where I live, there aren't many Eastern Asians. I mean, in the US, if someone mentions an Asian person, immediately you would assume that they are Chinese, or Japanese, but here you would assume that they are Pakistani or Indian :3
no, i havent, my mom has though (shes as addicted to dramas as I am D: ) and she says its really good..maybe I'll watch it after I finish my anime fandom :)
