She returns with a handful of shekels. And what's this? A few eyeballs! How lovely. They are certainly good as shekels. Plus can keep you company. Where shall i put them? On a triscuit? What's that eye-gor? Oh yes, too scratchy. Ill look for some place else. I know. Open faced pbj! You like that? Great! And when i want a break you can stretch out in the hot decafe Joe tub. You can help me with my reviews.

By the way it seems k pods are about 3x as expensive as ground. Le sigh. But any pod beats cafe at a shop. The Starbucks pods are under a dollar. Flavored ones, too.

So im running late. Just had lunch. Italian wrap. And half a clif bar while i was working. I cleaned the whole Lost Room! Wow. I was in everything. Grabbed all the capris. Brought out fleece leggings. It's still really cold. I widened the pathways. Took apart the fans. Last thing to do is vac.

So i had a great productive day. Brought out 2 bags of curtains. Ill be swapping fresh curtains in LR one energetic day. Plus cleaning the windows and vac ceiling. Make that one extremely energetic day. Maybe that will cancel out an exercise day.

Guess ill go em gf. Then it'll be time to bike.

Tramped out to Amazon's warehouse. Noticed bags of beef jerky, sausage sticks. Chocolate frosting! Excellent. No cake mix but frostings good. Unfortunately the eyeballs were there. People, people. Did i not explain their plight? These eyeballs need a home. I noticed all 56 weren't there. Maybe 48. The missing. These are the brave ones. The courageous. Do or die. Pick themselves up by their bootstraps. If they had boots. Or feet. But they are simply eyeballs.

Where did the missing eyeballs go? Well, i told you candy is plentiful. I was looking at an m and m jar and doggone if i didn't see a few eyeballs winking at me. I won't tell. I think it's wonderful. I saw one on the bottom of a tequila bottle. No worm, but a saucy eyeball. Excellent. And this is how the eyeballs will find a home. Thru ingenuity and true grit.

Now im off to clean and won't return till ive earned a few shekels.

Dawn breaks, confusedly chilly, in my Quarantined Town. I feel hung over. From what? The melly? The cold slog? Im acclimated to a 45 min slog now. Tho my legs are still lil shakey like a new born pink spotted fawn. Not used to running on uneven grass. It was, decidedly chill, at 49° maybe it was my dream. I was at a different house with mr x. The place was a mess. Surprise! And i was cleaning it. Looking for a vacuum part. Dream imitates life.

So, no desky today with this head. She pivots quickly in her pink suede mules and decides on chores! Goody. Goody goody gum drops. I like the spice flavor. Jack Lord, almighty, she's not going down a gum drop route comparing dots and jujubees? Humph. No, i shall speak about an article i saw on cakes.

It mentioned a spectacular churro cake. I didn't think that possible. But it was. Churro is the delicious cinnamon sugar stick treat. Highly yummy. It's a bread type. Served hot. I want one now! They're sold at venues that sell hot pretzels? Ive never had one but it better have some salt on it. In another delicious aside poptarts had a pretzel based tart. I thought a tart was some raised bakery item? Like a lil pie? But you can't put that in a toaster.

So they showed the churro cake then mentioned a Mexican hot chocolate cake. Is it cinnamon that they put in the hot chocolate? Anyway, both good ideas.

It said now calif schools would be closed till fall. Wow. That is a game changer. Are they saying the virus germs may still be floating around? Will stuff be up and running by then? If they aren't allowed to go to school, will they be quarantined? Will they have those kid activities like sports, dance? Prob not. Parents going to have to hire a babysitter? Will they have day care?

Mr x hit the store again for some saran wrap and couple cans of dinty stew. He said shelves were more stocked. Then he returns, rakes up blossoms in back, and plants the tomato plants. Busy boy.

So what delightful chore can i do that doesn't involve too much of the lil grey cells? Maybe The Lost Room. I can take apart one of the fans and get it ready to be cleaned. That's half the chore.Trusty, rusty toothbrush, cloth, spray. Ill rearrange stuff. Try to bring some semblance of order. Order in the court! The judge is eating beans. The queen is in the bathtub counting submarines. I think ill crack open door for fresh air.

Im starting to go down for the count. Melatonin aka melly, does that for you. I don't like this part but do like springing awake in the a.m. isn't a.m./p.m. a cool name? Pretty much sums it up. But what is 7-11? Open from 7 to 11?

Well, that was Day 1 in The Land of Q. Saw an em from garbage company saying if you see their guys out n about to leave them 6' of distance. I washed that one bin in The Lost Room. Got to keep chipping away with it. Heard some weird sounds and queried, goonies? Mr x said leprechauns. Ah. Well got to go em a pal. I can't seem to catch up. Ill answer 5 msgs then get 10 replies. And it's hard to do after melly has hold of my hand and is pulling me to bed. Still, i persevere.

The net is slow. And im cold. You're lying on top of 5 blankets. Has it occurred to you to get underneath them?... do you know enough to come in out of the rain? Now see here, mac. Ive slogged in murky cold conditions today. My head is flying south right now. Im on autopilot. So let's be civil, shall we?

I checked Amazon. It's doing a lil better. Got some cheetohs going on. Amy whipped up some of her soups. Organic, healthy poptart wannabees appeared. I like the regular poptarts better. They're more fun. Like they have one that looks like a hostess cupcake. Or colored frosting. The healthy one had white frosting on a cherry pomegranate one. Come on, give us a lil #5 red dye and tint that frosting pink to match. Plus, how is a poptart wannabe healthy? Is it made with whole grains? Real fruit?

I saw 2 instances of frosting! Way to go new 100k Amazon workers. Now this is what you get when motivated workers step up to the plate. And there was cake mix! Arthur flour cake mix. 6x the cost of Homemaker Bettys tho. Bring us some Crocker and we can give those eyeballs a home.

Not withstanding the expensive cake mix what could you put the frosting on? It was cream cheese and vanilla. Well, they had some saltines. You could go for that salted caramel taste. Or ritz wannabe crackers. Lil frosting on top. Pop on an eyeball. Nouvelle cuisine has never looked better.

They have a sense of humor, too. Joe is prevalent to buy. You can't get barista style art right now but how about brew your honey a Joe, sugar and cream it. Then pop in an eyeball or two and see if she doesn't respond with a smile.

Heat up some of Amy's delicious soups and drop in a few for the kids. They'll love you for it. The eyeballs are also up for games. They are round, you know. Get grampa to explain the game of marbles. You know that wood tilt maze puzzle that you lost the ball bearing piece? Eyeball! There are a million and one uses for them. So don't be shy. Buy a pack of 56 eyeballs. Buy extras for your friends. Give as party favors, too.

I did nod off on the couch. And it was good. Very very good. But slog awaits. I must mire myself in the muck and gluck of the back 40. And since its been raining it was quite murky. I forgot my hand warmer. But ran inside to fetch it. And it was cold. Very rather cold. It read 52° but just now it was 49° geez. I hate inaccuracies. Ive already written down 52° in the Log Cabin journal. But i also hate strike outs. Rats.

Anyway, it was cold. I borrowed one of mr xs bike wind jackets. He wears such a small size. It was not a flattering fit. I looked obtuse around the middle. Eh. You got to start somewhere. I had to crank it up a notch in the beginning. Go faster or freeze in mid step.

All in all, it was fine.Took the jalopy out for a spin. Very invigorating. Brisk. Like lipton. Now im listening to slow piano music.

Bro has written asking my advice on some complicated taxes. I don't do taxes. I can barely do my own. Don't be forwarding some tax directives to me. This is not good. He has to do this on his own.

Just saw a couple cyclists toodle by. It's overcast again. Sonny T Sun put on a grey overcoat. Wimp. So, guess ill check the sorry dog eyeballs and grab a decafe. Heard sf going into a 24 hr curfew. Wow. That'll prob be us, soon. And you'll prob be joining us under the Ubiquitous Umbrella of Q. Q for quite unprecedented.

Just had lunch. I don't eat breakfast. Just joltin joe. I had small leftover of mac n cheese, choc cake, half pbj, some garlic triscuits. Now topping off tank with some crisp, diet Pepsi. That was practically all carb except for the peanut butter.

And now im so very tired. I could so do nap on that heat pad. But will i? I can't. I shouldn't. I must slog. But Sonny T Sun has vanished. I think he's getting his legs waxed. I haven't done my straw, frazzled hair up. Have to struggle into that tight swim suit.

Maybe ill digest aka doze off a bit. Mr x back. He tricked me. Headed to cvs, pivoted, then entered home depot. Bought 3 tomato plants.

Good night. Oh, got em from dentist. They're closing shop for 2 weeks. Then ny considering to join Club Q. And some county, India? is stamping folks hands with indelible 2 week ink who must be quarantined.

I haven't checked the weather app yet. I must be slipping. But Sonny T Sun continues to smile down on us so it looks like a good one.

So, where in the world was mr "Carmen" T. X? He was at tjs.tjs?! You mean the store he tried yesterday but turned back after encountering 100 intrepid customers waiting in a long ass line? Yup. How did this come about? I thought he left rabid and proceeded to rake you over the coals. Yup again. What he did was go an hour early. Ahh. Even then he was 3rd in line. The other customers were women. Mr x had a jolly time. Ain't nothing mr "Carmen" T. X likes better than jawing. Particularly with women. One was a school teacher. When they parted to go inside, she told him, you're a really nice guy. You're cool to talk to. This amiability is his best feature. It's almost like he's snowing someone. He's very earnest. His voice is agreeable. He acquiesces to your reactions. Very fascinating.

Anyway the limit was 2 of anything. Like 2 bread, 2 fruit. He said he wouldn't mind going again. He had to wear double clothes. 2 pants, 2 sweatshirts. Big jacket.

But, where in the world has mr "Carmen T. X gone now? He has gone to see the wizard of cvs. A drugstore. They also sell tomato plants. Does he ever sit still? Looks like he's got ants in his plants. You got that right.

Day 1 commences. Dawn breaks bright and cold in my quarantined town. Mr x is gone. Earlier he must've shopped because i saw a new cafe creamer in fridge. I guess now he has gone hunting for bear. Bear thee well, Mr x. Happy hunting! Shhh, he be huntin' wabbits.

I checked Amazon briefly. Some new items. Cheetohs! Oh, flaming hot. Same selection of Joe. Those dam eyeballs. What a bizarre item. Maybe it was the Unpopular One at school. They brought him out to great expectation on Amazon's bear shelves. But still he waits. No one picks him for the sadie Hawkins basket. The 56 eyeballs weep.

See, Amazon isn't being smart. They are candy eyeballs. Decorations. Ahh... but are you selling cake mix, with frosting, to nestle said eyeballs? No.Then they're of no use. They'll just sit, morosely. 56 eyeballs watching sadly as you pass them by on your way to spicy hot chips with a mug o Joe. How mean. How callous.

Im wearing The Itchy Shirt. And i fear it's a losing battle. Its this cute grey tee with an old fashioned illustration of Alice's tea party. It's darling. But darn itchy. I don't know why. Will check the material but think it's simply poly cotton blend. But why is it itchy? I told myself this is its last chance. If it's itchy again, that's the end of the line. Ill put it on one of my stuffed animals.

So, got back and peeked ol. AAA, the car club, has closed. Thank goodness mr x had taken my car registration in. Or id be standing at dmv. No, I'm expecting that to close any minute too. But they have a kiosk at Safeway. Which spits out the tag even as you wait.

My back pinged again. I was on the bike. There's something evil about that bike. It may be the seat. I did floor exercises but didn't bother trying to raise my heavy laden head. Ill wait till i have more arm strength. I should do pushups. Faux ones. Maybe on my arm. My wrists are particularly small. They say don't even think of trying to make us support your body. All right, all right. You don't have to be rude. You can't even wear a watch. That reminds me of this pretty bracelet i got. I was wearing it daily. Where is your playmate now? Sitting in the pile of tarnished jewelry waiting for Herself to polish us. Tsk, tsk. Just as i thought. You know, you should take this quarantine time and get some things done. You are wildly out of control. I don't even see how you get thru the day.

Tomorrow is a slog day. Im kind of looking forward to it. Try to forget all this strangeness. And apr 1 i planned to start the patio exercises. We'll still be under the Banner of Q.
