Hm... Most obvious approaches would be to proceed with the torture (and thereby risk my character actually going with her threats), or to simply hold back on what they were going to do with the kid.

But given how things are going right now, apprearently the latter is unlikely, even though the former would make him more of a monster in her eyes...
