Yah! That's hard..... Thing is, they don't really flower well until the second year either. It's a vicious cycle. Maybe there is something you can do to winterize them...like wrap em in burlap or...something.

And we have plenty of rocks too. TRUST ME. Thank glacial plucking for that, Ct is pretty much the dump zone for the glaciers as they receded..... I also live on a rock shelf... But, I want PRETTY rocks...not just some metamorphic schist *hehe*

Ground level for the veg, but my dad creates furrows and rows with compost and all that..... I do raised beds for the herbs, they kinda need it. I wanted to do epic raised beds for the herbs last year, but that didn't happen, sadly. This year maybe. I drew out a flowerbed plan and it looked really really nice. It will take money to get the rocks and bricks and everything cause I wanted to make it ornamental too.

PLANTING! yessss. Spring cleaning and house repairs are going on here, as well as yardwork and getting ready to plant my herb garden again. My dad does all the veggies and such, I take care of the herbs :D I am waiting to see if my lavender survived the winter (hmmm).... I am also planing some outdoor spring fun, like the fire bonfire! yes! I just have to wait till the nights arent as chilly!
I do all kinds of stuff. I live on a farm and grow grass hay. I love the outdoors and feeling the sun on my skin! When I'm inside, I love to play video games and build computers! I also like to read though I haven't made as much time for that as I should in recent years. I have a barn cat and a doggy as well as an aquarium with fish in it! I Also like riding bikes, reading Manga, watching Anime, playing Pokemon TCG (and the video games too), jogging, building anything and chatting with my friends on Mene!
