- I live away from my parents with my girlfriend in an apartment. Yes! I'm a girl with a girlfriend. I enjoy yaoi and shonen-ai, yet interestingly, yuri just kind of weirds me out most of the time. I've been on Menewsha since July 2007, but before that I was on GaiaOnline (and still kind of am here and there?) since 2005.
Let's see... I remember Digimon and Pokémon very well. I never got to watch much of Pokémon on tv, but owned at least one of every generation of their RPG games. Digimon was like eye-candy for me, and therein came my first bishie crush: Ken! Evil or not, he was amazing.
A little later I stumbled into DragonBall Z, and stayed into that for quite a while until Yu-Gi-Oh! drew my attention. Mind you, I hate the dub. Yes, I've collected the cards over the years... but I really appreciate the manga and the original Japanese anime.
Then my video gaming side caught back up to me with Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. (I play World of Warcraft. If you play on Draenor, drop a line, I might get on. ^^; I also would be willing to play Mabinogi and Perfect World International again if I had someone to play with.)
I've also read/watched all of Sukisho, DNAngel, Loveless, and several Tenchi Muyo arcs. I've more or less seen good portions of Inuyasha, YuYu Hakusho, Trinity Blood, Pumpkin Scissors and D.Gray-Man. I've also had fun with Yami no Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness. I also want to watch more of 07-Ghost and Pandora Hearts...
I've always been a reader and I've read whole series of -actual- books... when I was younger I had the Seventh Tower series by Garth Nix, and of course, Harry Potter like any other 'normal' adolescent. (Yes. It's normal and healthy to be well informed about books. You can't say you don't like them without ever opening them.) But I've also read all of The Wheel of Time series (so sad the author died...), part of the Sword of Truth series, and I read book -one- and only book -one- of Twilight (I opened the cover. I read it. I don't fan it. I don't even particularly like it.)
Which brings me into the topic of vampires. Most of what I've read has been Anne Rice's works. But there was another good by Robin McKinley called "Sunshine" which I recommend happily to anyone. It's not part of a series. If you've only ever read vampire books by one author you can't necessarily call yourself a fan of them. =/
I do not and will not hate on Twilight fans. But my alliance is with Anne Rice's works. Team Lestat, plz. - Location

A friend of mine has had an ongoing story. (She's actually a friend that's been in and out of being homeless, and so she's been living with me for the past week and will be here yet another week or so more.) She's incorporated her boyfriend into her novels, and so now they co-write. She's read aloud to me and shown me some of her sketches of the characters... they're all really fantastical and unique.
Anyway, while she was reading to me, I got around to drawing them. If anyone's truly interested in the character backgrounds, feel free to ask. And if anyone's interested in [I]art[/I], please, feel free to comment. Set an offer and I'll start drawing right away. (And, oh hey, I do fanart from actual anime, too... not just original stuff anime/manga-fied.) x3

There is an insane amount of snow on the ground outside. [B]o3o[/B] A winter storm warning remains in effect until 4 AM PST Monday. An incoming frontal system gave us heavy snow showers today and this evening. And it's not even over yet. We're expecting accumulations of 4 to 7 inches of more snow tonight along Hood Canal.
So I'm here on the computer bored as hell. xD Gaia's kind of pissing me off again. They've turned into a giant cash cow and aren't caring about their old promises anymore and it's really getting old. So I looked around Zantarni and Rolianna, and I still think I prefer Menewsha overall. It's still small, but I luffles it.
