Yah, it is a pretty nice trail, cept you have to watch out for roller bladders... They like to do short spurts, and well, get in your way ;)
Well, have fun on your bike trip! How far are you traveling?
And I love boating. It's really fun. I even just like rowing machines. You'd prefer a kayak if you like being in charge, and you can get in all the nooks and crannies with shallow water.

It's a long trail. Its nice too because it's relatively level, with some hills and curvy fun bits tossed in. But, you can ride 10-15 miles and not really have it kill you.
We just sold our kayak in the beginning of the summer, cause it was really not comfortable at all. It was too small, so sitting in it was a mite unpleasant. Though, of course now I miss it cause all I have is a canoe, and I am not a huge fan of them. You should make your own, how amazing would that be?? And make sure to test them out on a lake....and with a life preserver! I'm sure a few will have to sink till you get a nice one ;)

That'll be my next adventure... I just need to dust off my bike and make sure the tire pressure is ok!!! I hope I get to do that this weekend since there is an old canal that they made a bike trail follow near me. It's a pretty nice place to go biking, and it goes through 4 towns.
Other than that, I am borrowing my friend's wooden kayaks to go down the Farmington River soon. Maybe when the leaves start turning so it's colorful and fantastic.
    Glad you're feeling better!

Tis the season for colds, eh? I had enough fun with strep and bronchitis in the spring, that I am taking a lot of vitamin c and zinc to preempt anything that comes my way... *fingers crossed*
I guess the cute nephews make up for the cold though :3 Feel better!

Well, it's soo nice out, that I've been getting outside and about hiking every chance I get. I did a three or four mile hike in my flip flops... Bad move, since it was pretty rocky and steep, so now my feet hate me... They'll get over it:roll:

One or two years apart isn't bad, and at least you are finishing your studies. I only finished one year of college before it put me into too much debt and I decided not to go back because of costs. But in my classes we had two people that were in their fourties starting out with all of us just out of highschool ^_^

Don't you just hate it when you over compensate and end up making something else hurt, lol. *imagines you walking with a cane while holding your hip*
My one ankle often bothers me (damaged the tendons in it and it isn't healed yet) and I can tell when I'm favoring it because my opposite knee will start hurting. Then I can't figure out which leg I want to walk on *sigh* Stupid body is falling apart on me already XD

I don't mind playgrounds as long as they are not full of annoying little kids. . . . .they are just soo annoying!!! <-- never had much patience for kids  I do love amusement parks though. And playing games and reading comics and watching cartoons. . . .most of which are anime, but there are some non anime cartoons I like ^_^

I'm pretty good at picking out key words and descriptions to try and figure out where people are. . . .gawd, now I do feel like a stalker >.> But I find it interesting how all over the place we all are on here. And a little depressing that people I actually have things in common with are hours, if not days, away  I just don't fit in with the people of this area *sigh* how did I end up so different. . . not that I would want to be like these people.

Time of year I go places will depend on best times to see the beauty of the area without it being overrun with gawking tourists. Yeah, in truth I will be a tourist that will probably end up gawkin like an idiot at a few things, but I don't want to be lumped in with those destructive masses. No matter how much a place is waiting for the tourist season and the money it will bring, they still have a hate/annoyance for the mess and noise that all those inconsiderate people bring. I hate it too, which is why I am looking for places that aren't heavily advertised for the tourists. I want to see places as they truely are, not the way the money business made it look.
. . . . .okay, I just spent an hour reading up on Cascades lakes highway and, I'M HOOKED! Now the problem is it takes four days to drive there :headdesk:
The gardens sound like they would be nice to check out too as long as they aren't overly crowded.

Now that I am done typing you a book here. . . .

Are your friends a lot younger than you that they are calling you old, or are you just the easiest one to pick on since you're the oldest ^_^
I got lectured by someone at work when I said my knee was hurting. She is only a few years older than me but said I was too young to be saying by body was hurting (and the way she said it made it sound like she was someone in her sixties XD)

I'm not holding on tight to being a kid, I just don't really know what has to change to make you an adult in mindset. I'm mature, but at the same time I am completely a kid  I still like doing everything kids do and see nothing wrong with it.

No, actually I live in Pennsylvania, all the way on the opposite coast. But I was wondering about your profile saying about a highdesert but talking about snow. I googled western highdesert and ended up with a bunch of torrism stuff for oregon. So I thought I would ask to confirm XD

Do you have any recomendations on places in Oregon that would be must sees. And I don't mean the overly advertised tourist attractions. I want to see places that are a little less known. I plan on traveling a lot and am making a list on places to check out ^_^

    Haha XD
Why have you been feeling old lately? Did some little kid call you old? I hate it when they do that. I gotta wonder what they think of their parents, who are about twice my age >.>

Work is making me feel old, at least physically. Mentally. . . .hmm, still a kid here :XD
I'm going to take a guess!! Do you live in Oregan?
