Today started off bright and sunny, but has now devolved into gray and dark. I am messing with printer. I was able to set it to my WiFi and have it appear on phone. But it's still not printing.

Last night I skimmed a gals blog back 7 years. Once you start you have to continue. Doesn't seem to be a way to skip to beginning. I'd rather not read events backwards.

I'm very confused here. In her present persona she's 36 and states she's asexual and other terms I'm not familiar with. But basically she's not interested in hanky panky, period. She's a crafter and writer. Seemed like science fiction or anime which I don't care for.

Yet I scrolled backwards and backwards. I was more interested in her day to day life. I skipped all her writing. But then she started posting anime cartoons. And it turns out that back then, 7 years ago, she was into male gay anime sex.

But I don't get it. Does she have to have a stance? Like is she gay, straight or both? If she likes guys, she's straight. But she likes gay guys. Does she want to be a guy? No. Anyway, I found it eye opening.

It's almost time for my pbj. It was another 4 hour couchy day. Was just on Amazon looking for a stylus. The fiber ones don't work on all screens. Letters jump in. I think a thin tip sturdy rubber one might do. Some I have are draggy. I will also try a disc one for my iPad.

Kind of mind weary. I didn't mess with printer. I did less mindful work. I paid two bills, opened mail, ordered tax booklet ol. My Verizon bill came, but ol. I thought I changed it to paper. Nothing but misery with that company. I was reviewing papers. I will have to call them. Yuck.

In the midst of all this Mr x comes rushing into the room. Back yard nabe was on his balcony. Oh, more update. Today I looked out and it seemed the back house looked different. More white. That's because more of that dang fence fell! Anyway, Mr x wanted to talk with the guy.

In a bit I heard Mr x laughing and figured things were ok. Later Mr x returned. The guy had noticed fence but hesitated coming over. Just like us. But he knows a local guy! The guy has done work for him. He's going to call him!! Such a relief. I looked up company and its highly rated. A father/son business. It won't be till March tho. It's been awfully wet. Premature as to which house they will want to enter. The guy nabe is very friendly and chatty. Similar to Mr x. But I've heard that guy on his phone before. Oh and the guy said to Mr x, I've seen you going back and forth in your yard thru the fence cracks. Wonder what you were doing. Mr x said it was me slogging. That was kind of funny being noticed.

It was a wild and wooly night yesterday. Lots of wind and rain. I was more concerned with the wind. Amazingly the lights stayed on. First thing this morning I checked the fence but it was still up.

Had another productive day. I added the stimulus debit card to Amazon. Put Uber app on my phone. Went thru tax docs that came. I went into one ol bank to nose around. Went thru the mail. The box is now pretty empty. In past times it'd be overflowing with days of mail. Got some bills ready to pay but it was too dark to see figures.

I made a lil progress on printer. And have more leads to follow tomorrow. Will sign up for copies tho. I was able to stumble on the keyboard settings for the printer. There are four buttons. No directions. You just push them randomly and see what happens. I was able to see my WiFi name. It's there. My phone has the same setting. Why won't it connect? This machine has caused a guy to sledgehammer it. It's that bad.

Soup was mushroom. The house across St seems to be coming to an end. It's painted, they removed the green construction fence. Still lots of vehicles abound.

Time for a snack. Let's go out to the snack bar!

Storms expected in a couple hours. Told Mr x to go charge his dvd player. I got out the candle. Luckily I have power banks. It's so cozy with lights, heat, and TV. And they're going to take it from us?

I lay on heating pad but didn't sleep. Thinking of printer clues. I went in closet later and found router. I had tried to connect internet once. I don't think that router can work with phones. I still have some things to try. I'm rebooting that old tablet. Gee, battery is totally shot. I charged it to 87% took it off and five minutes later it was at zero. I'll connect to power bank. I want to see if that one connects to printer.

Tomorrow got to look into taxes. See if documents are in. Will look up tax booklet. See if I can order. I may not be able to download. Still, I can view it and start taxes anyway. Bros giving me hints.

The printer I have is a brother. And it's amazing I was able to get it going at all. Review after review posts failure. These are tech folks and this machine has flummoxed them. I feel their pain.

I don't think I'll get a new printer. The reviews are sadly similar. Terrible problems connecting to WiFi. I don't need this. I'm moving on without it. I shall still follow up on any clues I can. I can print invisible pages. Wow.

I'm full but I better hustle and take a bath before lights go and I'm doing it in the dark. I do not trust the electrical infrastructure of this state.

failed greetings from my unfriendly printer ogre in brothers, calif. a soul stripping hut in u.s.a. from my non punctuation you can infer im on my laptop. this had recognized the printer, but its still playing with me. i got it to accept the print job. it printed. it said successful printing. maybe if you can read invisible ink. its printing blanks. maybe its for casper.

im running out of time. got to segue to taxes. ive started looking at new printers. yet more confusing reviews to read. maybe my printer became obsolete. it gets terrible reviews. yet when i bought it 6 yrs ago it had vg reviews. the exasperated reviews are hilarious.

soup was basil tomato. i dont know what to do. maybe ill put this couch full of devices away for now. crack an ensure. go lie on the heating pad awhile. think of options. maybe i should stop trying to make this work and focus on getting a new one. if i could only find a simple one.

Greetings from my wind swept establishment in northern California. I went out to look at the downed fence today. There's also lots of overhanging brush from our and nabes trees. I want to go and cut it. It'll get in way of fence. It will require a ladder and leaning forward. Thats an awkward position. I wouldn't be able to do much at a time. But it's exercise and I haven't been outside since October. I would get to wear some spf. I miss the smell.

Now, Mr x is supposed to be taking care of the gardening. He just recently worked back there. Maybe he'll get to it before me. For I have other pressing stuff to do. This week will be wet tho. And nabe seems to be ignoring or still doesn't know that fence is down.

Oh, other day I did ol chat to consumer Cellular, did I say? I was on hold half an hour. I got them to activate the hotspot on my phone. Now I have three possible hotspots. And I asked how long before they could unlock the phone. 30 days. I thought it'd be a couple years.

Today I fed Wally for 6 hours. He wet. I had to put down two more towels. So that's four towels pushed under. And he gave me a scare. I returned to check on him and it had stopped. Turned on and off. It was full of water. That would be a real pain to deal with. So I tried different water temps and it turned on. Just more and more things going wrong. I need to seriously research washers n dryers.

Oh! I filled a small basket with old stuff. I'm dumping my three denim vests. They had rhinestone lapels. The rhinestones would fall off in the washer. Wally didn't like it. He said it was like seeds in his mouth. I went and got some soft Velcro attachment and sewed them to vest. It wasn't strong enough and lapels were always flapping down. They're gone.

I tossed that sandal that needed glueing. I'm not going to use that glue gun. I should just toss that too. And the solder kit for jewelry. But I won't yet. I dumped that cute Alice in wonderland tee that made me itch. And this binocular that was too big and heavy and the rubber started breaking down and is sticky.

And it's garbage day tomorrow! I can breathe easier having more room. Then I moved a DR bin into BR.

I wasn't hungry tonight. That's highly unusual. But I was in back closet and there was that bag of Hershey's minis I had given Mr x. I had a handful.

Time to zone out ol now.

Had an unexpected productive day. I spent all day with the printer prob. I advanced a little. My laptop recognizes the printer. But it still won't print. Still, I have hope. I skipped my nap. Don't ask me where the energy came from. But I could get a lot done if I could work like that every day. To top it off, I vac the LR and DR. However I didn't bike or do situps. I always view the vac as exercise.

The heater is making some noise, I think. I would hear this sound almost like a duck quaking twice. Mr x said it was the construction across the st. I don't know. Heaters make me nervous. So I turned it off while vac. Usually it's on all day and most of the night. Mr x sleeps in a sleeping bag right next to it. His bag is rated 5• F but he said it was cold. So he put the sleeping bag in another bag and says it's perfect.

I'm half finished with my last large hand warmers. Gee, will it last me? I had so many boxes but I'm going thru them like M and Ms. I still have two boxes of the small hand warmers. It is an absolute delight to go to bed with one at your feet. It stays hot all night. The small one is too small for a foot warmer, tho. It's too small and I lose it. I can't find it cause I wear socks and can't feel it.

Today I refilled my Epson salt containers. There's prob one more refill. Then I will have finished it. I bought Epson salt by the pound. I had bags to use. This West lab one vg quality. Did not clump up. I dont plan to reorder the. I'll dump the empty containers. My place will be emptier!

When I was vac the DR, I was scrutinizing under desky. It's totally packed with a couple bins, office supplies, hand warmers etc. Lamps. I'm going to slowly empty it. It's because of the treadmill. That thing takes half the room. I'm going to have to move desky sideways to roll it out. But I don't want Mr x to know yet. Hell rush me. And they have the garbage pickups few times a year. Next is Feb, but this darn printer prob. Plus taxes. And that dam fence. Treadmill will have to get in line.

I was idly looking at fence reviews on Yelp. Very discouraging. It seems they may need access to electricity. So I have to tidy garage? Mr x has to put away stuff. We've found workers have sticky fingers. At my folks house construction work bro said someone took his orange electric cord. And one of my perfumes disappeared. At our place the guys that put in copper pipes, someone took mr xs piece of wood. It was lying on the fence. You don't just pick up what you want. The fence fix is a prob. I did see one vg review of a company. And we have two gates that are pretty bad. One gate you can't even open. I may replace those too.

The mini ipad was a horror to swype on. would not work. i was into the settings. way too complex for me. right now im on rarely used laptop. im typing with these pencils with round hard eraser on tip. i can go pretty fast pecking. dont know where capital setting is. when i swype normally, i skip caps. screen too tiny and it slows me down.

i have been trying for last 3.5 hours to connect printer. next i shall try to connect this laptop directly to printer.

soup was manhattan chowder. it of the inedible bits. mr x has made a deli sam which is in my future. yest made more pbj. i was right. the crunchy tastes more like peanuts. its raining. you know i actually like pecking here better than swypng. i have a much bigger screen to see, and phone isnt constantly trying to turn off.

ok, back to work.

Tonight I come to you from the grand ballroom on my iPad. I have never liked this thing. I had to try all my styluses to try to find one that works. It is an attractive device. It's white. The case is nice. It's mainly the keyboard. Always wrong words. This is not acceptable.

So I need to check the settings. I have an apple password. I don't even know for what. My fault for having too many devices.

Today I did a chat with consumer cellular. This isn't working. Back later.

I got some work done! Saints preserve us. I started out to try laptop but it was dead. I'm charging it but last I checked it had hardly charged. Do we have a prob?

So my TracFone was expiring in a few days. I went to fool with it. Tried the hotspot capability. I was able to hook up a WiFi phone! Tried my redmi but that didn't work. Who knows why? It's getting hard keeping track of these. I've got 3 possible hotspot phones. I have to try all the configurations.

So since the TracFone had a working hotspot, I happily went to renew. Strangely the one mo plan is better than the one year. But I'll have to mess with renewing every mo?

Next I'll go into consumer Cellular phone. It seems you have to contact them to enable hotspot. What a pain. I'll also ask how long before I can unlock the phone.

The omelet was good as always. But my hands are cold now. The heating pad is calling. And back nabe didn't grace me with his presence. So it's been a good morning.
