Oh it is not something you should need to apologize for. It was my fault that I interpreted it in such a manner. Judging a member by their username alone is quite silly O.O;

I have been here for a few years, not active the entire time. Although I have been active for a little while. To a large extent this avatar reflects my stance on the power imbalance between large and small scale societies. As I am quite peeved that so often the relationship is understood by people as large scale(often western) having all the answers, but if only those silly little small scale cultures and tribal peoples ('developing' countries can be included here) would do what we tell them. When I took a short break from the Debates forum, I changed my avatar and put clothes on. I oddly had some people complain to me, and request I changed it back. So when I returned to the Debates forum, I also returned to my 'political' avatar. Apologies if you are not interested overly in politics or anthropology.

Well you certainly revealed a bias in me. I saw your username in the Debates and my first reaction was to think you are a troll. I was quite pleased to see I was incorrect. While I am here, nice avatar.
