I'm sure an actual tailor wouldn't ruin it.

I'm surprised at the price of it. I think the bust is too large for me, but everything else would work.

You could always tailor it at that price!

Thanks!! You've been a real help. And it's been really nice to have someone to talk things over with. If you ever need to vent to somebody, you know where to find me! ^____^

Yes. But I've known him for over a year now and she's only known him about a month. So I don't know how serious she even is about him. She was sheltered most of her life and is only just now starting to experience the world and how confusing it is. She's had boyfriends, but based most of her dating decisions on appearance and how special the guy would made her feel. This is really the first time she's ever liked a guy for who he is.

Yeah, I feel silly for falling for it, but then, I guess I just wrote it off as him being strange rather than dishonest. Maybe I give people the benefit of the doubt too much. When given a choice between viewing them as stupid or malicious, I always just think they're stupid. :XP

Yes. That's why it's best if I don't have the conversation too soon!

I am kind of confused and hurt, though, because a few months ago when he told me he didn't like me, he had two main reasons. One, because I have higher moral standards than him and he doesn't want to "corrupt" me, blah blah blah. That one I met with some amount of suspicion, because it sounded lame. He actually compared me to the Mona Lisa. Anyway, the second reason had more merit. It was "I just don't see you as anything more than a sister, anyway."

But now, he's into my best friend, who has pretty much the same beliefs as me! How could he say my high standards were an obstacle when hers aren't? Sounds like bullshit to me. I wish he'd just have been up front with me and been like "Look, I'm just not into you like that" instead of trying to tack on additional "reasons" that magically apply to me but not to another girl with nearly the same high standards.

Yeah, that's true. And now Facebook is down. And since our schedules don't allow us to meet in person this week and he never answers calls, Facebook woulda been my only way of communicating with him. It's a sign! haha. Maybe. I don't really believe in those things. But it's giving me some more time to think things over, at any rate. Sometimes I have a tendency to just say whatever is on my mind, and that would be unwise in this case, since I'm still feeling angry.

Well it does hurt me, but what would hurt me more would be to lose either one of them from my life.
What I REALLY wanna do is talk to my guy friend (crush), because he's probably wondering/worried about whether I know and how I'm gonna react... I sorta want to put his mind at ease but then at the same time I don't feel like doing that! *sigh*

It's not so bad when the products are worth it. Unlike Buckle who charges $100 for a pair of jeans you could have drug through mud and ripped up yourself to make look the way they do.
