I want to be a published author too.
When I write I always feel like there's something missing from my writing, just out of reach, that I need to figure out how to include.

I'm reaeding "Teach Yourself Writing a Novel" by Nigel Watts.
Oh cool. I've gotten up to being able to write 10 000 word stories, but am not sure how to edit and make them grow into full fledged novels yet.

I just started rping again myself, I've been reading lots of books about writing ... Which have led me to buy this old prose and verse book which is turning out to be quite informative. It's from 1940, so it's really different, but in a good way I guess?
