Chilly morning hi neighbors! from my happy hometown. It's even colder out. 39• but I checked Iowa temp where gf plans to move. It's 6• that's a whole different frontier.

I can chill out a bit. Yesterday I got off track. Gf had given me a window of 10:30-noon she'd show up. She came at 10:29 a.m. we talked an hour in driveway. The st was incredibly busy n noisy. Darn construction house across st had big trucks going back n forth. Nabes kept passing by in cars. Mr x waving to all. He knows them all. There were lots of walkers. Saw one baby carriage.Joe nabe was out and waved. I'm sure he recognised her. She used to come over every weekend to walk or hike and she has distinctive long blonde hair.

She gave me a bag of mags. Mr x loves those. I haven't read in awhile. They're stacking up. Then two gift bags. Mr x thinks there's about 25 gifts. I don't know. I'll have to take them out and count. He always looks for the sees candy. And said it's there. This is the big reason I've never told gf I have Ch. She'd stop or feel guilty getting me snacks.

She commented on my long periwinkle coat. She wanted to take a pic of us. She was extremely talkative and happy. Now she's at her sis s apt a couple towns away. The sis also plans to move to Iowa.

Got to make McJoe now.

Quick, hurried greetings from my softly slumbering town. It's 41• out.

Gf drops by today to drop off gifts. It could be last time I see her before she moves to Iowa but I told Mr x not to talk about that. I couldn't get him to stop talking last time. And he'll be wearing the mask so he can get the packages. I'll stand back. It'll be low 50s then. I'm going to be bundled up, maybe wear my knee length down coat. It's powder blue. Plus ski cap. Hand warmer in pocket. I hate being cold.

Fed Wallace T Krebs yesterday for 6 hrs. He's happy as a clam. My closet door is blocked with bags of clothes. Got to get to that.

Also haven't put together Mr xs food parcel. Will have to set up heater back there.

Well, I have to get ready. Glam up. Find my distance glasses. See if I need to spf.

The postman always rings twice. I'm writing on one of my two unactivated WiFi TracFone s. Tonight I was down the Verizon rabbit hole. I've been meaning to check my account for mos. But I forgot the password. So went thru password box. Got it. Found my tablet with 2 year contract just ended. Good.

I really hate having an auto pay account. I have two tablets connected, for 2 lines. One Asus tablet is shot. It can't be removed from electricity or will drain in min.

I dread having to speak on the phone to customer service. I've been mulling this for mos, off and on. They insist you call or go to store to cancel service. So they can put a sales pitch to you.

But I ran across a possible side step. If you port your number to another carrier, it automatically cancels your service! Could I have found a way out?

Got to go check on phone bank. It's almost at zero and this post will disappear if I don't send now.

It's officially winter. It's weird cause it's bright sun yet cold. It was 53• in here. Furnace turns on at 52• I suppose one can become cozy in winter. The hand warmers are a delight. McJoe scores. I have so many clothes on.

I'm wearing a navy polo, red light jumper, light turquoise sweater, celery corduroy shirt, red boucle jac. Plus turquoise fleece pants. That's what I wear to couch. Oh, plus a ski cap. Sheesh.

I officially turned over Mr xs Tracfone to him. So that's done.

I don't have a good call phone. My redmi was great but call function ceased. Don't get an international phone, I learned. So I've got sim card in an old Nokia. So I was looking into plans.

Tracfone is great for texting and calls. Can cost $7/mo that's great. But they'll get you on the data. If you watch you tube etc. Now you can hop on WiFi. But if you go out you're using their data. On the other hand one doesn't usually stream you tube in a car. Hmm. I better compare consumer cellulars plans. I wrote it down.

It's a spare the air day. Folks using fireplaces too much. I'm hung over from eye allergy. Took half a benadryl last nite. This must be what bar hoppers feel like the next day.

Don't think I'll get to desky. Rats. I'll do what I can and report back later, boss.

I'm losing my grip here. I'm off track again. My hands are cold. I should bring gloves out here. I'm using stylus. Could work.

So, today's Sunday. Did my hair in a bun and put orange scrunchie on. Just had honey roasted mixed nuts. Too good. Soup was mushroom.

Again, I didn't advance to desky. Just not feeling the love. So I did hs blog. Hadn't for almost a month. Then I messed with cords.

The new colorful short ones came. My devices now all have shiny new cords. I've put the old ones away. I've checked the chargers. I have them connected to most devices. My iPad needs a separate cord. But basically this huge project is done. I put the box away. We're good to go.

But I need a good stylus. With the cold screen even less work. They have a mesh tip one. Looking into that. There's also a gorgeous one with crystals!

We tested Mr xs Tracfone. He knows how to receive and make calls. I want to go thru settings one last time. I turned off the data and WiFi. That was draining the battery.

My 100 kpod came. Have to check it. Already had a maple glazed one. Gfs two packages came. There was a prob.

Yest we were watching when Amazon delivered two packages. He took a pic. I have this irrational avoidance fear of people sometimes and I didn't feel like chatting to the guy. I was waiting for him to leave. He was putzng around his truck. Later returned and retrieved top package. My head was lost in space and I didn't think anything of it. Mr x commented, weren't there two packages? He started me thinking. What if that delivery guy had just stolen my package? He has a pic to prove it was delivered. No one came out so he could've stolen it. I don't know. The bottom package was my kpods and cords. I had received the two packages from gf. Did she send more? This is it. Behaviour changes. Once a package is delivered I'm going to fetch it. Thinking about this has given me stress.

Well, im stuffed so I think it's time to defrost on heating pad.

Shiver me timbers! It's 44• outside, 57• inside. My old fashioned cafe maker is giving up the good fight. Today it shorted me some Joe. Waters not pumping or wasn't going thru the hole. I'll check reservoir. I have reservoirtions about this maker. Secretly, I was just keeping to use up my ridiculous stock of warehouse cafe filters. But you can't give me grief before my Joe! You're the missing link!

It is bright sun and I have to jump on the desky train. Everything stopped for the fuel refreshment of his nibs, Monsieur TracFone.

Well, the sad fact is out of the bag. Mail came before din and Mr x of course opened the letter from the lawyer. It referenced his bro. It's the beginning of probate and they want to install his bros wife as executer.

For mr x to be informed seems to mean he is indeed an heir. But, as I told him, it could be for a dollar to show anger. They had a bad breakup at the end.

Mr x was quite surprised and sadly shocked when he realized his bro had past. Luckily he could still eat din.

I wasn't able to put a GPS app on mr xs phone. It's just too basic. He'll have to ask someone if he gets lost. It goes in circles. Like calling customer service. They show TracFone responses to customers dilemmas. They apologize, commiserate, say this is not what we want to hear. Then offer a link to ask the question for help. They just did! It's a no answer answer. It's brilliant if you think about it. It's called the Teflon slide. Watch me dance around my frustrated customers! Look, ma! No questions stick to me! It's doe see doe. Around we go! I hate corporate.

Well, enough of this wool gathering. Desky doesn't get itself done.

Time to arrange my pink coiffure... And git er done, son! It's also Friday omelet day. Yum!

Another inheritance letter is coming today. Drat those pesky things. Let's just get this over with. This is a letter from city where the bro lives/lived. i looked him up. 47 years as attorney. Does estates and trusts. This might be the bros guy. I don't know. I'm not opening that letter. I'm just glad it didn't come while I'm meandering the labyrinth of TracFone.

I'm waiting for a burrito to cool. Soup was veg. I'm messing with my eternal phones. Was writing down consumer Cellular s new plans. They have an unlimited one. So does my Verizon. Which caps you out then throttles you within an inch of your wifi. I need to get to my Verizon plan. All in time, my lil grasshopper.

I looked on calendar. Gf dropping by 23rd. That's next Wed.

Think I'll look at mr xs phone now.

Dreary greetings from my rained upon hood in Sprinklington calif. A soggy woggy bog in USA. Mr x just informed me yet another annoying construction truck from across the st has parked blocking our driveway. Well, it's always open cause we only have my car, safely snoozing in the garage. It's not that there isn't a full space he can't utilize. Pull up, man! Maybe he wears his pants half down, too. We're just under seige until they finish that house.

I was down the TracFone rabbit hole yest. Took about an hour ol chat to transfer number and add one year card.

Happily, I retained my minutes! Plus they gave 64 more, which is weird but appreciated. Now he has about 151 hrs plus a year's rent. For about $7/mo. It is really a fantastic bargain if you can learn TracFone-ese. I should focus on the successful completion of that dreaded task rather than the parking irritations.

I forgot to change into my jeans jacket yest. Was so off track. Then we had to test the phone. It's a quirky lil darlin. We're having learning curve with call volume which is basic. It also has no keyboard like his last one. Those are like dinosaurs now.

So I'm pretty much toast today. I did half empty that huge Amazon box. It's been blocking the front window for days. Mr x commented on it. But I'm working on your phone, bub. His treats look a lot smaller in person.

I'm worn out with technical phone stuff. Still, I may fool with his again. No time constraint. Also I was looking into styluses. I had bought a small colorful pack but they're not universal. Every screen seems to need a different touch.

I need to em gf. She's working 11 hr shifts at Amazon.

I wonder what the soup du jour will be. Yest was mushroom with herb. Got to slowly rejoin the routine.

Well, mr wrong. I think in that dream we were on an amusement ride, like a roller coaster one. It was a great one. Sorry about your shirt. I shouldn't have brought that fluffy pink cotton candy along on the ride:)

Hello there. Had another dream with you in it. Are you receiving royalty checks yet? You were silent and the dream ended when I told you that I liked you. The position was odd, too. Both of us lying in bed, with me lying on my back, and you lying on your back on top of me. Both of us being fully clothed. Banishment from Pinkland brings strange dreams of yearning, I guess.

That drilling has been going on all morning. It's so on my nerves. My hands are cold. My back is sore. I did put the pink back belt on. I also put in tiny green heart lever back earrings. Kid size so I can leave them in awhile. My hands are too cold to put in earrings. I'm wearing a long red print dress with a white polo under. Black denim leggings and my sky blue denim jac.

Just had last nite din leftovers. Ever ubiquitous veg, spinach polenta, and Italian main dish. A nice lie down comes next.

I didn't do much, sadly. I'm physically miserable and cold. Oh, the inheritance letter. He brought it up but thinks it's a scam. He did wonder why his bros name was mentioned, complete with the correct middle name. I agreed with him it's prob some kind of scam. They don't call it fools paradise for nothing. It's a nice place to be.

I think I will do TracFone chat on messenger. It still had my last chat 5 years ago when i was setting up this soon to be defunct phone.

Sun has gone away. I think it's time for a fruitcake slice. We're down to the last pieces. It was 2# cake! Last year I had gotten the 3# but I didn't want to indulge. Feel lil bereft now. It's dark like rain but that's not in the forecast.
