Okay, so my idea for an 'alternate fantasy' world is pretty simple...
Take the usual medieval fantasy setting, what with elves and wizards and whatnot... Then make magic taboo. "Scientists", which are in this setting more like Alchemists, have pretty much taken over and declared magic to be illogical superstition. Magic -is- real, but nobody dares stand up to them about it because they're quite powerful. The leader behind this change is the King's Scientist, who actually is a powerful magician as well, but keeps the world attuned to science more than magic because it's easier to control people who believe in science--scientists have to go to school, whereas anyone can be a magician; so he can control who becomes a scientist and make sure that ALL the scientists are loyal to -him-.
A friend and I are putting together a steampunk RP...once we get it set up you can app there, though I'm thinking there ought to be a "Post every three days" rule since it is multiple people. If you play with just me one on one though I don't care if it's once a week or even less than that. ^^;
Fantasy or steampunk, huh? I have an 'alternate fantasy' sort of setting if you want me to start tl;dr'ing at you about the strange things that pop out of the back of my mind.... ^^;;;;;
It's okay, I can't post to one neurotically every day, either. What genres are you interested in? As long as you put a bit of thought into your posts, I'm not spastic about grammar/length/OMGPOSTEHEVERYDAY or anything. ^_^
