Tides ebbing slowly out of this day. Kind of warm here, but still not capri weather. I couldn't put in an Amazon order because my net was slow. My BlackBerry stalled. Don't know what his problem is. Im trying different batteries. Maybe his time has come. It's been a good phone. I never activated it, but used it as a journal. It's an attractive purple with a qwerty keyboard. That will never come around again.

But if i can't get it to open, I've lost all my notes. That's a fine kettle of fish.

And i made contact with my fuchsia scanner which has been 3' away from me, but i couldn't get to it. This procrastination phobia. Finally i picked it up, dusted it. Id been checking the battery occasionally so it wouldn't fizz out. I read the instructions, put in sd card. Got error message. Looks like battery might be dead. Well, duh. When was the last time you used it? Months ago. But, i made a start. Ill grab new batteries tomorrow and try it.

They say the virus can live on shoes. That's sweet. Good reason to start removing shoes. We have a shoeless house. It does feel weird. I did not grow up in a shoeless house, but mr x did. But his mom is from Japan and that's their custom.

But we have carpet here and i suppose i see the purpose. And Mr x likes to sit on the living room floor.

If i can get this scanner going, wow. I can really get some work done. In fact, i have to figure out what to scan. I have a couple bins of stuff. Old school papers. Some. I threw most away. Those greeting cards. I sure would like to reduce all that to an itty bitty sd card.

News sounds like maybe an end is coming to this lockdown? Ours is may 3, i believe. I still can't believe the world has shut down. Before, i would see folks in China etc occasionally wearing masks and think it looked alien. Now, it may never go away. I bet there will always be pockets of mask wearers. Maybe it'll help with the flu, too. I haven't been out in my mask. I don't think ill enjoy it. I dislike breathing hot air. Can't wear lipstick.

Tomorrow's hash day. I had leftover from when bro came over plus ill open another can. Hash n eggs.

Happy Easter greetings! Tosses chocolate mini eggs with abandon. I like the chocolate covered marshmallows. I can't even find fudge covered cookies anymore on Amazon.

It's yet another grey infused day. Neverending. Again, i won't be able to do much here. Maybe ill stay on couch and do couch desky. Im getting lazier n lazier as the Q weeks march on.

However, i was searching on Amazon. First i was looking at xmas hooks but a simple S hook might be more the ticket to hang the necklaces. And a smaller amount like 50. Higher nets you a cheaper price but ill have leftovers rusting happily away. That's not fun.

Mr x has tennis on. My hair's up so here i go to save the day!

Not very productive today. But a little is better than nothing. I succumbed to a long nap. Which feels good but doesn't accomplish anything. But, i might be dreaming again a little, so that's all right. I had too many carbs and my ch went high. That's you, cake. I shouldn't eat it before a nap. Before the bike is better.

And of course i rode. Watched a mr moto movie with Peter lorre. Then read his bio.

Saw an article where a guy recreated a plane interior at home. He's missing traveling. So he set himself next to his front load washer to make that window look like a plane window! I love recreations.

One pal wanted to go to Hawaii and i was telling her how she could do a Hawaiian party. This was before this virus. There's all the decorations. Menu of tropical drinks, spam appetizers. Hawaiian music. Don ho. Tiny bubbles. You could blow bubbles! Wear Tom selleck shirts, Hawaiian dresses.

Ive seen some mothers recreate target and Starbucks for their kids. I like the Starbucks theme. I don't frequent them but I'm drawn to it somehow. I like the logo. I like the look of the cups. I wouldn't mind a corner room that looked like Starbucks.

Which reminds me im running low on decafe pods again. Now that mr x is inbibing we could go thru 60 a month. He's liking my concoction. And i just got 2 boxes of mccafe. That's 24 total.

I would've gotten mr x some Easter candy but there wasn't much selection at Amazon. I sure could've gone for some chocolate tonight.

Well, tomorrow is another day. What scintillating chore shall i attempt? I hope it's sunny. Original star trek is on.

Going kind of slow here. Mr x is watching Matt Houston marathon. I just had lunch and am fighting a nap. I think im going down.

Ive put the egg cartons in their baggies. Fits well. Still need to examine them when it's light. And i separated the necklaces. I have a lot of cross and crucifix necklaces. Im wearing a heart shaped one now. A pensive Father in robes is sitting on some rocks. The other side reads, i am with you always.

Yet he's not saving people from this virus. Im sure they're praying. But does he intervene? How come some and not others? Should we back off praying and lean towards, whatever is your will?

Now i have another problem. Tarnished chains. They're not easy to polish. I think i have a liquid cleaner. Will try to find it. Otherwise ill have to junk bunk chains.

I was looking up hooks. They don't even sell the old fashioned ones i have. The newer ones are more attractive. Swirled wires, some in colors. Sold in huge lots. 200. 300. I don't have a combination of 300 necklaces and tree decorations. Guess i need to corral my necklaces for a count.

Another grey day breaks tiresomely over my Q town. Mr x noted women joggers are out, but not guys. He said guys just do the weight lifting for awhile but don't segue to cardio. He didn't say segue. Maybe women more concerned about their weight or health.

I need to sew and do desky but it's dark. It's just much worse to sew in the dark. I want a pleasant chore. I can wait for a sunny day, i suppose. Too dark to mess with the earrings but i can cut the egg cartons down so they'll fit in the baggy.

Maybe ill work on the scanner and my glasses. Time to put up my rats nest.

Yesterday watched a ginger Rogers movie. A mystery, not a dancing one.

Mr x has tennis on. They're grunting like stuck pigs. It's uber annoying. Every time they hit they feel they must exhale loudly. It's wretchedly tiresome. Ill go find him that microwave cooker.

Well, it was a productive day. I ended up sorting a kitchen cabinet. And wrote the eyeball blog on high school site. I had to go back thru the random posts here and hand write them down. Because i don't member everything i wrote. Also read a bunch of mags. I ended up in kitchen because the room gets a lot of light.

And i read a tweet where someone showed a box of beautiful donuts they received. That did it. I had to retrieve my cake Tupperware in freezer. Mr x called me ratburn. Well, yeah. But it was very good cake.

Im still not seeing cake mix offered on Amazon. Mr x made din that included okra. Later he told me the plastic handle fell off the pan and some fell out on the floor that he dumped. I wish he didn't tell me that. Then i mourn its waste. Just quietly dump it. Ive got to find him another cooker. I always have a backup.

Im thinking of getting another vac. Im tired of having to fetch it back n forth. I want one in the front and one in the back. I might just get another dirt devil. I really like it. Hope they have more colors. I have a bright blue one which is pretty darn attractive. Too much to hope it'd be pink.

Have the LR window open. Feels really nice. Without it its stifling.

What to do tomorrow? Desky? Haven't done that in awhile. I ran across the udon noodles in the cupboard. Got to do a ramen. Need to look at the recipes again.

Good morning! Good morning! Dawn breaks dark n overcast again. Tho for a brief shining moment i thought it would be sunny. But it was just Sunny T "Burlesque Andy" Sun dropping a ray or two. You tease, Sir, i cry out loudly! No fair, no fair. He just giggles.

What to do today considering it's dark? I don't know but ill figure out something. Mr x is reading me all the odd, random facts in the free paper. I may write a blog on my high school site. The subject of those eyeball candies i told you about.

I don't write the same things there as here. For the high school peers really knew me. Or knew of me. I was wildly unpopular. I rarely dated. I looked pretty bleak. I was considered smart in some classes. I was not a cheerleader. I did not date the football captain.

But, years have past and times have changed. Thank Arthur godfrey. I learned about makeup. Im still exercising. I look basically the same from high school but i did improve. I never smiled back then. Now most of my pics i smile.

And i write. Folks didn't know me then because i never said anything. Now i write a lot there and they can read it. I get a tremendous amount of visits which is a lot of fun to see. But i try to put myself in a better light. For instance i don't post my cleaning blogs or what inane thing Mr x has done.

And then the virus hit. I had just done a blog there early March. Well, after the virus what can you say? That is not a topic you want to go near. It is a world wide tragedy. So i stopped blogging. My views ceased. I was posting a random pic or two.

But then i thought. Eyeballs! I could write about my concerted, concerned efforts to find the jaunty eyeballs a home. So that is on my to do list.

Now i best put up the rats nest and do something. Git er done, son!

It's been one tiresome, overcast day. Like being suspended in my bottle of cafe creamer. You know what this is like? SF. Unrelenting days of sameness. In the late afternoon the fog comes in. It is never shorts weather in sf. Here, we rarely get fog. Fog, at least, is fun.

Well, i didn't do couch desky. Haha, surprised you. I ended up futzing in The Found Room. I cleaned those two fans i had taken apart. Now ive bagged them all nice n clean. I counted our fans. We have 5. Two my bro gave me. I really like them. It's a double fan with dual controls. I pert near feel like speed racer at the controls. Did some vac. Moved some boxes around. It's looking good.

I tried putting an egg carton with earrings in a quart baggy but it didn't fit. Had to cut two egg holders at the end. So we're coming along. They hold my post earrings. I hang the wire ones in huge earring shadow boxs Mr x made.

Having a McCafe decafe. It's a fav. Has a touch of bitterness which i like.

Today finished the rathbone sherlock Holmes collection. Boo. That's all?

Starting to reread this thriller. About a teen seeking to exonerate her imprisoned father. It was a cat n mouse story, but you couldn't tell who was playing who. Finally, all was revealed. Then it made sense. I rate it C

I saw a clever tweet that garnished 560k likes. It read, my shoes probably think i died. I told mr x. He said, ohh stinky? No! It's because of the lockdown and the guys not going out! Mr x doesn't get it. The most basic line. You get it. It's like his brain is black n white. Can't distinguish color. He, obviously, doesn't get me. It's rather frustrating. I occasionally run into similar souls. That's really fun. It becomes dueling swords. Very invigorating.

I shall now force myself to lift some wts. Net has been bad. News has been bad.

Dawn breaks like one big marshmallow Pie in the Sky. Meaning it's overcast and dark. I better not drop any earring backs.

I don't know what to do today. Choices are slim since it's so dark. I also feel hung over again. Ive not been slogging for awhile and it's showing. I need to run this pink jalopy occasionally for those frequent flyer miles.

I looked at weather app and it shows some 70s next week. Maybe ill shoot for next Monday. The worst of the chill should be gone. Folks are getting more testy in my Masked Town. Who was that Masked Man? They are casting aspersions at runners and cyclists. Runners because they sneak up behind them, crowding them, and heavily breathing germs. Or runners and cyclists spitting in the street. Yes, that is very gross.

And im supposed to get out on street to run. I will need to cover my dark hair, for real. Some encompassing cap. I always wear sunglasses when out. I don't want to encounter anti Chinese rage.

I will have to practice The Art of the Slothful Slog for a while tho before i attempt to run the sidewalks. I say slog because it's slower than a jog which is slower than a run. I have to be able to accelerate past a walker.

I was up to 45 min slogging. Now that i stopped ill have to start back at 30 min. Hmm. I can certainly start the patio exercise, now that it's not bitter cold. That will help. Ill be all shakey on the skates again. Oh well, that's the way it goes.

Maybe ill do couch desky today. And work on one of my glasses. I finished the bland folgers black silk ground. I can pull down one of my 3 new cafe bags.
