It's midnight. I'm on the slippery screen phone. Again looked for disc styluses. I always read some review that I don't like. Like the tip breaks off.

I spent day 13 of taxy in my new digs. Dragged the trays of stuff, past year folders, lamp to bedroom. Tried the radio but terrible reception so I put the TV on a jewelry sales show. To hear background noise. And the fan on low. It was very refreshing to have the fan blowing fresh air. It seems that bitter cold is waning. I'm using small hand warmers now. I'm actually down to a handful of large ones. I don't want to reorder. It'll be warm soon and they'll sit unused till Nov. But the price keeps rising. In general on Amazon. Cake mix was a buck. Then prime pantry went down. Now it costs six bucks. That's ridiculous. Amazon not a good place for food anymore.

I almost made a major error on taxy. But I caught it. It requires another worksheet. Of course. I hope to get the draft done tomorrow. There are still days of checking and getting it ready to mail. But the wash is overflowing and Wally is sending me texts.

Those workmen next door parked badly again in our driveway. Mr x was watching and went out. I said, be nice. He asked them to please move up because he can't get the car out. They did. Later Mr x rode with Corona nabe who lives on other side of remodeled house. He said he had talked to them and they barely speak English.

Well had my ensure and Chex mix. I better hit it. And maybe the clang bang gang won't work on Sunday.

Been trolling for disc styluses. No luck. I liked a violet one but it was too complex. A 4 in one device. I don't want to be unscrewing and screwing things around. Just want a simple pen. I give up tonight.

Mr x watching the fockers movie with Robert deniro. He's laughing like a loon.

In lieu of biking I worked in closet. Finding more clothes to dump. I have the small basket of junk bagged for next trash day.

Today I was going after pilled items. I had been wearing this Indian float top. I have dozens. This one was getting a hole. Dumped it. I also looked into the book bins. At least four chock-full of books. I have a lot of reading to do. I miss the exciting book I was reading. Something to look forward to on my breaks.

Well time for ensure. I'm looking forward to taxy tomorrow. Going to spread out on bed. And I may lug in a lamp and put on a stool. It's supposed to be cloudy tomorrow.

Day 12 of taxy is in the bag. Didn't get much done. I started 540. My papers are all over the place. I was proofing the copying I had done.

Hopefully I can finish 540 draft tomorrow. Times a wastin. I will then take in bedroom and spread it out to organise. I can only do so much on the couch.

I just don't feel super sharp. Have to keep remembering to focus. I have a dilly of a time with numbers. I have anxiety about taxes. It feels like a test. A drawn out daily test.

I finished this thriller book I reread. It was good but the first read is the most exciting. It pitted a former Street kid against top computer geeks and paid killers. They met their match.

I was very impressed by the computer geeks that helped. They are geniuses. They hack but sometimes that is a good thing.

Doesn't seem that bangy today. Could they be running out of steam? Mr x said that car blocking driveway was indeed theirs. The four workers left in it. Mr x said he saw them and gave them a hard stare. Today they parked better. Maybe coincidence. Maybe not. Now I couldn't, if I wanted to, use construction co down the st. These guys work for them. There goes another bridge burned.

Well, time to lay on heating pad and review the days taxy.

Mr x has some scary movie on. Guy terrorising a woman. I have my ensure on ice. I'm using a fiber stylus with this redmi phone and it's gliding beautifully. I was em gf on that new phone and had to use my finger. I think I'll be trying the disc stylus. What else can I do? I can't use that screen. I have to try everything.

Taxy went ok. I mildly proofed 1040. Printed out fresh copies and did a final copy. Tomorrow will start 540. Should be easier.

I counted days till march 1. 17 days. The countdown has begun. I want to start slogging. It will be 4 Mo's I've been inside. I hope the clang bang gang will have made some progress. Mr x is wondering if they'll be redoing the roof. That'll really be noisy and stinky with the tar. I can't be outside then. But I can't not go out just cause they may see me. It's my exercise. Then, until fence gets done back nabe can watch me go round and round. Wonderful.

Was looking into washer dryers again. Bro will be getting some used ones and said I could have his. I said that's nice but they'd have to be trucked down, a guy brought in to install, then someone to haul old ones away. I'll go mad if I have to yelp three businesses. I'll feel bad dumping washer. It's like I've given Wally a personality.

Seems there are only two main sizes. 24" or 27" mine must be 27" maybe I'll go with the 24" but the cubic feet inside seems to decrease. Or should I try the Stackables? But that goes high and there are shelves above. So many variables.

I member going with folks to Sears while they did the song and dance with washer salesman. It was the boringest trip for us. Now it's my turn to doe si doe. And I don't like it.

Rains due in this afternoon, as forecast. All gray, as predicted. I'm kind of dim witted cause I took half an allergy pill last night. Well today will be proofing rest of 1040. And printing out 540. I can also look thru Verizon papers. I can't even use it on my tablet. It's a lame, lame service.

I'm having big Joe. A clang bang car is parked blocking our driveway. This mildly enrages me. Why doesn't he pull up? I don't want to get Mr x riled up about it. He has gone and kicked and dented cars that do rude things. The construction co that's doing pest house next door lives down the st. Mr x knows the wife. Of course. Anyone outside is fair game for Mr x. He talks to everyone. I don't know that I'd want to use a service where the guy lives on your same st. Kind of like not dating people at ones work.

It was so peaceful when the banging stopped. Now we're in the trenches again. I think it's similar to dental work. All the tapping, drilling. Pain. How you tense up between assaults. I'd rather take the house banging.

Mr x talked to this couple he knows. The guy mentioned he got a tooth implant. How painful it is. How it will take a year to heal. I haven't been to the dentist in 2020 cause of the virus. Yesterday got an em from former dentist. Proclaimed happily We Are Vaccinated! Businesses are now pushing employees to get the shot.

I finished that worksheet today. I found the wording unclear. It gave four choices and neither seemed correct. I don't see how folks who are on drugs etc do their taxes. It takes all my concentration. And I can't hold it for long. Soon the soup and avocado appear. Today was tomato. I like the lunch but it slows my momentum. It was very sunny but soon it moved on. And tomorrow supposed to rain. And I couldn't finish proofing the 1040. Rats. It'll be all dark and hard to see tomorrow.

It was extremely noisy again next door. They've almost filled up that second dumpster. Again for my nap I could only listen to headphones while enduring the bangs and Wham's.

I looked into that group that my pal invited me to. I was stalling. I didn't want to join. I don't like Louis Vuitton purses. I didn't want to have to say, I'm afraid Vuitton is not my style. Hello kitty is. So I nosed around and looked at the group. Mentions pay Pal. She'll spin during live FB video shot. I googled it. She's doing a raffle! She wants $21 you pick what number purse you want. One person out of the group will win it. But usually raffles are for some charity or cause. She's doing it for herself! Google suggests they may not be legal, too. It's gambling. If I wanted a Vuitton purse, I could buy it outright. Not buy a chance to have it. She made it sound like this would be fun. How often would this be? Every day? Once a week? I was surprised how many women had signed up. She was encouraging more to sign up. That lessens the odds you'll win, but she'll make more. I decided not to respond.

This a.m. I received heads up alert. I'd be getting a letter from someone in the next town. She hand wrote it. There was a regular stamp. I didn't recognize the name. Looked up the address. Bingo. It's Jehovah's witness! They're not going door to door. You can tell it's them because they dress up.

Think I'll have some Fritos now. Oh! You saw that zoom call where the guy was a cat filter? He was a lawyer. It was the funniest thing. So cute. I want to be a cat, too!

Didn't quite finish proofing that worksheet. It has about 4 mini worksheets. And I found a major error. It was distracting, all the banging. They removed the driveway length dumpster. This Mondo truck with a lift blocked the entire st and took it out. It is interesting to watch heavy equipment at work. After those mini worksheets and checking all those figures I started losing focus fast. Plus Mr x is moving around. I don't want to banish him to the back but it is distracting. So I gave up before I finished. Tomorrow.

Heard that ex felon rapist slated to move in next town won't be. Back lash too great. But that real estate owner now has a trashed reputation on yelp.

In lieu of the bike I worked in the back room. I was searching for junk. I went thru two closets and a bin. I'm pulling stuff I don't like. Plus I had a bag of Bobby Sox I used to wear. Now I like pattern sox. I didn't go thru them just tossed in closet near that fuchsia basket. I also pulled the incense bag. I hate dumping stuff I paid for. But I don't burn incense anymore. Will I ever? It includes the various incense holders. I'll have to look at it. Then I want to dump the boot shapers. I'm never going to wear a long boot again.

That back room is like a dumping ground. I've got bros two huge skateboards and pink scooter. I think I'll give them back. I'll try the latest board but my patio is way too short. Plus I have my own beautiful fuchsia board. I have a bunch of bubble wrap I want to put up in garage. For moving. I emptied out the last Epsom salt bag. Now two small containers left.

Epson is supposed to be a wondrous product. I don't know. Do I seem less fraught to you? I seem pretty fraught to me. Maybe going cold turkey I can tell. Supposed to be good for your skin, mood. You'd need twins in for a test. One a placebo. Do skin and mood tests.

Well, it was pretty productive day. Where else can I find junk? My clothes were the biggest collection. Oh, I've cleared out half the mess under DR table. Cause I'll need to move it sideways to get treadmill out. Mr x hasn't commented yet about it becoming clearer. But when it's totally clear he may wonder. Plus I will put my lil dolls and Father statues away. Where? In a bin? I can wrap in a small towel. Or lay some bubble wrap down! I'm not doing taxy on that table yet it's all cluttered up. And treadmill has boxes on it. I use them to collect recyclables to dump.

This is reminding me of the worst weeks with house across st. It was summer weather and I was sleeping on the couch. I had to close the window. There was only respite at night. And you came to relish it. It makes you appreciate quiet when you don't have it.

Well, I plan to start slogging mar 1. It'll still be cold. I hope the sun will shift by then. The yard has been in shade and that makes it even more cold.

Today I proof another worksheet. Chipping away slowly. Then I need to make Verizon call. Then buy washer dryer. I'm thinking of the stackable one.

Took out garbage. That extra basket of junk. I can breathe better knowing I have more space. Want to keep this up till no extra junk.

Baskin Robbins was robbed at gunpoint in our town. It's the one I went to when I received a gift card. They got $300 if I worked there, that'd be my last day. You figure the register has $300 every night. And rats return.

Had a good taxy session. Proofed another worksheet. I found an error. I hadn't rounded a figure up. So had to change a lot of figures. You wonder if irs would bother over a dollar error.

I only do a bit of taxy a session. That's why it takes days. Like one worksheet. I'm comparing it to last year's worksheet. Holding iPad with worksheet instructions. Doing calculations. I can only focus like this a short time. My OCD really dislikes figures. I had a big problem. It's a lot better now. But I still check much more than the average person. Plus my double vision doesn't help. Sometimes I close one eye to see.

I took a nap with the headphones. I couldn't sleep cause of the banging. But I rested and focused on the music. Mr x said they're taking down a couple of the back rooms. He stood on the lawn and could see the studs.

Oh, a casual ol pal contacted me to invite me to her FB group. Something about Louis Vuitton purses. This is not my thing. I already have too many bags and I don't like designer items. So I'll have to craft a reply.

Mr x made deli Sam. Had half for lunch. Think I'll have other half now. He's engrossed in another English mystery show.

Day 8 of taxy. I haven't started yet. Having my mccafe. It's been noisy as heck already. I was awakened by pounding and hammering. Now I'm hearing gardener sounds. Plus Mr x is weed whacking. Now someone's dragging a ladder or something.

I'm charging up my tiny slogging radio. When I nap, I plan to wear them. Drown out sounds.

At least headaches gone. It's cloudy sunny. Better than all gray skies.

I put the screen protector on phone. Still testing it. I only put it on bottom to cover the virtual keyboard. I think it works better. But it severely obstructs the beautiful screen for reading. You can see the lame protector.

I'm rereading this great thriller. Bad guys going after this guy. But the guy grew up on the street. Plus he has odd characteristics. In times of danger, his mind focuses sharply and he can envision exits.

Speaking of survival skills. There was this great story. This guy was going to drive from grass valley to Truckee. Near Tahoe? It's normally a 2 HR drive but road was closed. He used GPS for a mountain road. But the road was snowed in. He got stuck. For seven days! He had dropped his cell in the snow and got it wet. But he had some dried noodles. Ramen? And some hand warmers. He stuck in bag with his phone. It took 3 days to dry.

I asked Mr x what's with the dried noodles. I thought to prop up the bag inside. He said it absorbs moisture. That was it! Like they suggest putting phone in rice.

Anyway he survived. He had a propane stove to heat snow to drink. 2 cans of beans, sausage, couple slices moldy bread.

He was very Wiley. Plus 29. Also had sleeping bag, winter clothes, and shell over truck.

Mother said he was always interested in survival skills and she used to find him in bed reading such books under cover with flashlight. He was rescued by ground and helicopter right away. He didn't even require hospital care.

What a great survival story. i love how prepared he was. He's like a mcgyver.
