Actually now that I think about it, most of my lolita friends are pretty tall...

I don't think it's the height has to make them look awkward though, it's just height-related if they don't dress to mask the height. ;P

I think that in this picture, the other girl looks kind of awkward and it is height-related.

We are the same height though and I don't think I look awkwardly tall in lolita. D;
It's just her skirt length and there is nothing to draw attention to her upper half because of the black, simple top so there is too much attention on her legs. :3 Boots also help to make your legs look a little shorter... Just use general style rules and you should look fine. ^ ^

Ohh! Well I am very tall too (5'8") but there are ways you can make it look good - it all depends on skirt length. :3
I may look like a giant when standing next to shorter lolitas, but I don't think it's because the clothes doesn't suit me, just my size in general... I think if we had been wearing different clothes I would still look huge, lol.
