I know, but to her, having a cat served no other purpose than having a full-time field mouse exterminator. She saw Oreo and our past cats as tools, and having them inside was counterintuitive. Plus, she's a horribly OCD neat freak, and didn't want cats tracking in dirt.

She's kind of a heartless person that way. I've never been too fond of her. -.-'

I know. :/ But my stepmom always refused to let him or any of our cats inside from the moment we got them.
