ok well i can start with our first kiss i guess, although we did have a 5 minute hug before that... it was a really good hug. lol.
ok ok, so i was visiting his house, and he lived in the basement apartment, so it was really cold right? and so i sat on his lap to keep warm. It was a ploy on my part, theres no lie there. We were watching St. Ralph and i looked back at him every once and a while to comment on the movie and then i turned to say something and he just said " ah fuck it" and we had our first kiss. it was soft and romantic and very well timed.
lol. i have a lot of cute stories bewteen my boyfriend and i, and we have been dating longer then you guy have been. thats so strange that your engaged already. but different strokes right?

lol. thats good though. we always loved making tomatoes. its when the whole family got together in the summer to can tomatoes. we dont do it anymore... mainly because everyone is too busy... but my dad said we might do it this summer. i invited my roommate to come to it too. it really is a lot of fun. lol. maybe ill get my boyfriend to join in too. lol.
but im not having kids so i dont even have to worry about that. lol. This way i can be selfish and guilt free. lol.
your very right. My parents didnt watch me but they taught me what was good and what was bad. They also taught me to question everything, just because the internet or the TV says so, doesnt mean its true. but then again, we also did things as a family. Picnics, drive in movies, making tomatoes... stuff like that. i dont even see people as a family in the parks anymore. its like the mom and one kid. or a few kids. not everyone together. everyone being the whole neighbourhood. thats how it was when i was growing up. the whole neighbourhood played together.
i dont know... the idea of a family... even a home, is long gone and thats sad you know. people even lie to get out of marriages now. i know people who claim abuse when no abuse occured! that sickning you know? Its like the boy who cried wolf. eventually people arnt going to care if you have been raped!
yeah its not even that their my age, its just that i know them. lol. their mostly around my age. i knew someone who was married. he recently divorced because he came home to her cheating one day. they have two kids. its a sham really... why dont parents ever think of their kids before their own genitalia? You know, they used to. but they just dont care about the idea of a family or how much that means to a child. *sigh* anyways. you have me on a anti marriage rant and you just got engaged! lol. im terrible.
thats good. im glad he has good taste. my boyfriend does not. i picked out my earrings and the ring he got me. were not engaged, its just a promise right. its strange really... i think im the only girl i know who was courted. got a promise ring. you know... the whole 9 yards of the old school dating. lol. i really like it though... he treats me too well sometimes. im sure you feel that way too.
but yeah, everyone i know who isnt single, is engaged or getting married or just got married. its really strange to me. i dont want to get married. both me and my boyfriend have been through some rough divorces... and neither of us are religious. so it just has no meaning for us.
lol, thats awesome. well im glad there is great news for you to distract you from the horrible situation with your gran. its good for everyone you know? eases the pain. And really, it kinda proves that old the darker it gets the brighter the light gets, thingy right?
i ahve a stag and doe to go to next saturday. its strange that your getting engaged and i know so many people who are. you know? i think im at that life stage or something.... i dont know.
