I know right? It would be one week for the contest, and another week for the judging. Nightmare haha.

I mean, if you guys wanted to talk to each other about the contestant's entries, that would be fine with me also, but it seems like it would just be time consuming and not really that practical. I just do it the way I do because it's easier for me to get a full grasp on the entries when I have more to work with. When I see that something reminds you of something that I haven't heard of, I get to look it up and see what you mean, or if you find a particular item that would have been better suited to the entry that I'm not quite as familiar with. And I like seeing what you all think of the entries. How well you think they relate to the challenges and to what level of creativity you all think went into it. But yeah, just how I like to do it. And also, if I do it early, I start to nitpick and overanalyze the entry so I end up editing my thoughts 40 times before I put up the scores.

You know I hold off on writing my scores until I get the rest of them from the other judges. I like to read what the rest of you have said first to see how it compares to the way I look at the avatar, and then if something you guys have said in yours seems fitting, I adjust my scores a little bit. It makes it easier for me to see the little things that I wouldn't normally pick up on.

btw, you're always the first judge to get your scores in. even before! There have been so many last minute/late scores from judges before that yours are always refreshing to see so soon!
