Dawn breaks tentatively in my shuttered, highly sanitized town. Thus begins Week 2. I came out and said with delight, it's sunny! Then mr x said, it rained earlier. Oh no. Now we're viewing 10 Shades of Grey again. It will not be a slog day. Not till Sonny T Sun deems to make an appearance.

I am not clear minded as the melatonin is supposed to do. Im supposed to be leaping towards desky with great fervor. Statements! Bills! I have to scan that auto registration paper and make copies. I have things to do! Places to not go! People to not see! I can't be lounging on this oh- so- comfy couch. No.

The construction across the st has ceased. The court of public opinion. Mr x was biking around today and saw a pal. That guy is having a garage door put in. That's surprising. Maybe it was an emergency where the remote failed or something. But the nabe police is out in full regalia.

I have to make up some pbj sandwiches. However many that fit in a Tupperware. I cut them in triangles. Rectangular ones not as tasty.

Well i have to put my birds nest hair up then get to work. Woodstock wants to read. Once you get the ball rolling it'll be ok. Must be productive. It makes me feel better.

Evening has long set in my shuttered town. I had a delicious, impromptu nap. Then arose and dutifully ground out 90 min on the spin bike. I don't know how it got that high. I started out at 30. Then 45. Then maybe to work off some cake or something i went to 60. How i went to 90 baffles me. I think it's my limit. It's not tiring but it's doing a number on my back. It's the seat, maybe.

I watched another sherlock but machine petered out after an hour. Ill have to check reviews if that's normal charge. I do have another one. Maybe ill try that one too.

Mr x opened one of the new snacks i got. Scooby doo cinnamon biscuits. In the shape of a bone! Very cute. I had one. Quite nice. But then i, resignedly, returned to my trusty triscuits. He got me more today. One a Greek one, i think. I don't know Greek food so it'll be a new taste sensation.

Mr x hit tjs today and waited an hour outside. He said the store is pretty stocked. They're finally catching up with the demand. I checked my strips and they haven't left the pharmacy yet. Says there's a delay. Alrighty.

I read the article about the guy who ran a marathon on his 23' balcony. I asked mr x how long is that? He knows measurements because he's a fisherman and they're required to adhere to strict measurements of fish.

Like i know inches, small ones, because i was obsessed with heels once. When i first got a pair of 2" heels, i believe, i was so proud to wear them and clomp down aisle in a store. Wearing knee socks, to boot. I could use my fingers and tell you what 2 or 3" was. Heels. So attractive. So painful.

One good thing about staying in is you don't have to get dressed up. Folks are really being casual. I like slogging in back because i don't have to put makeup on. Or make sure my clothes match. Sometimes ive made the best color choices by randomly picking clothes to wear.

Right now im wearing fleece leggings. We're regressing, i believe. Where is that glorious sun a few days ago? It's been sf bunk lately. Unrelenting dreariness. Saps my joie de vivre. But tomorrow is another day. A delicious blank pink slate to color prettily in.

I fear im wimping out today. Im a wimpy wuss. It's still an uninviting 50° It looks wet, damp even on the grass. Im sleepy. I fed like im going, but i think ill be a no show. Then it's supposed to rain next couple days. Oh well. There'll be tons of sunny days to come. My hand warmer is cozy and I'm lying under blankets on couch. Mr x has tennis on.

I put all the Amazon supplies away. One is poptarts frosted cookies n cream. And those oatmeal packets.

Was reading this Victorian kids book by e.nesbit. A bunch of sibs having adventures. They want to believe in magic. Me, too. They believe they've found a child princess. She may be play acting, tho. But, so what? It's fun.

You know what id like to do? Go back to bed and lie on a nice heating pad. By jove, i think that's what im going to do. Ill do the bike later. No encouraging news ol. We just have to stay in. Lots are really receptive and trying to be inventive or creative. There're still lots you can do. Extroverts prob suffering more. Im overtly intro. Im quite content inside.

Dawn breaks dreary n chill in my Q Town, U.S.A. It is 50° where is mr "carmen" T. X? Well, he hit a store for more trusty woven triscuits. It's a strange cracker. There is a right way to eat it. On the grain. If you don't, it'll be harder and more crumbs.

It reminds me of shredded wheat. They used to sell mondo ones you'd have to crumble in your bowl. Yeah, that's what id go for. Uneven pieces of twigs sticking up in my hello kitty bowl. Use a press cutter and give me tiny squares!

So my Amazon prime pantry box arrived. Ahead of schedule. Was due in end of this month. Then they said tomorrow. But i was sleeping on the couch and heard beeping sound. I thought it might be the strips so got up.

It was the Amazon box! Looks much smaller than normal. Ill have to check it. Supposed to be protein bars n soup. Survival gear.

Today's supposed to be slog day. Gee, it looks unwelcoming right now. Better charge up my cell radio.

Trying to use a scanner app. They updated it. Very few free options, they want you to go premium. I need to get my pics in an ol album. I also have cards. What are you supposed to do with cards? My mom saved everything which is interesting, but daunting. I have cards sent to me when i was 1, her baby shower cards. I want to scan them then perhaps dump. I can't drag memorabilia from my whole life everywhere i go.

And journals. You think i have an obsession blogging here. It goes way back since i could write. I have 2 five year diaries. From 3rd grade thru 8th. From high school then starting junior college. Then i went radio silent. Too busy studying. Started doing journals when i was going to college in sf. I wrote everything. What i was watching on videos, my schedules, family drama, how i hated this or that. How much i weighed, my fears for the future. I have a couple stacks of journals. Written sloppily in cursive so even i have trouble reading them. I used to know exactly how much i made n spent the whole year.

Then i got net and found note apps. Or on old BlackBerry keyboard phones i write my private blogs. Then you're left with what to do with them. Luckily easy to delete. I plan, one day, to go thru the journals writing down anything important, then dumping the journal.

Time for floor exercises. I was on the evil bike and yup back's pinging. Watched the original sherlock Holmes, basil rathbone. It was marvelous. Uninterrupted. No irritating ads every 10 min. The lush Victorian interiors of sherlock's rooms. The quaint dress. Excellent.

Gilligan's island is on. Earlier Brady bunch. Ahh. Great shows. Tho when i spin im going to watch dvd. I have a portable player i can attach to the bike. Net has been abysmal, lately. Im not going to bother anymore. So ill have to pick a movie. In my meticulously organized media center. I like neat! What will i pick? Might need a flashlight to peer into cabinet. Maybe sherlock? I haven't watched my dvds in a couple years maybe.

I did desky. I had 2 weeks mail to open. My car insurance stuff is there. Boo. Ill have to call in payment now since they've closed office.

Mr x was biking. The tjs was open. Don't know what that alert was about. He ran into the nabe who had bought the Corona beer for the workers. And there was an explanation. One i never considered. It seems the nabe said he wanted to buy them a case of beer and asked what they preferred. They chose Corona! So now i have a new bit of useless trivia in my arsenal.

Good morning from Q Town, U.S.A. It's one of those, it's sunny no it's not, kind of days. I saw some mention of tjs being closed. It came as some alert so that's weird. They have had plenty of stock. So mr x biked off to check it out.

Im not doing ch tests. I have 2 strips left. Waiting for my new supply. First, credit card will be billed. That's first step ill know something's happening.Then however long it takes to ship. Ill know in morning if it's coming because of that postal notice i get. It's nice not to have to wonder the whole day if it'll be in mall.

Heard Neil diamond did a parody to sweet caroline. The line, hands touching hands, changed to hands, washing hands. Haha! That's so clever. Tried to pull it up but can't. I swear, folks are going to be so ocd germ phobic after this. It's certainly valid. But you can also go slightly mad about it. Mr x used to push doors open with his foot. This was before this scare. He's strangely not going mad. I have a mask for him but he's not wearing it in stores.

They closed the tennis and basketball courts in my germ phobic town. Kids were getting too close. I thought i heard national parks were free. But they closed Yosemite. And folks were heading to Marin county across golden gate bridge. That's where we Airbnbed. They closed point reyes seashore. I think they won't be able to do this lockdown more than a month. Folks will be broke plus go mad.

As for me, i have to head off to desky land. That in box is getting taller. See you on the other side of Desky 2.1 edition.

And i did go thru the stack! Tossed out a bunch of outdated stuff. I need to do a desky session soon. I just ricochet from here to there. Everything needs attention. Well, this is a good time to work on stuff.

Mr xs din was veg pasta and a lentil veg mix. Then i wood chucked some garlic triscuits. Now he's got some noisy bang bang movie on. You wonder if crime will decrease during this shutdown. Everything's closed. Everybody's home. There's a parade of folks walking by. They really like to exercise in our Q town. I like walking in the hills because there's less people out.

Im starting to yawn. I may as well hit it. Ive read everything ol. Have started another Victorian romance. The two have never even gone out to din and he's asking to marry her. There's hint of some mystery or adventure which sounds good.

Had cake boss dolce de leche. Good. Ill give it a B Still dreary out. Tho on my slog the sun popped out. I had to stop after 30 min to rest. Tum still off but had another spoon of the pink stuff. If you keep it in the fridge, it tastes best.

While i was out there, i heard a dj mention a 10' distance now? That's new. Ok, while there's momentum and daylight, ill go thru this pile of stuff on the floor.

Almost ready to head out. Amazingly im not past out from lunch. I looked thru the small stack. I know what's there. Last Airbnbs food receipts to tally, other pidly stuff to do. Mr x watching tennis. They may cancel Japan Olympics. I bet they will. And no sch graduations prob. That'll be strange having no group shots of getting your diploma.

I saw some guy doing mini marathon on his balcony. That's really tight turns. Ive got grass to slog on, not huge, but i can do large figure 8s. Well, i bet ill be in better mood when i return. Serotonin and all. That's very interesting that melatonin has same tonin part. Must have similarities.
