So, the last two weeks I've been trying to set up a home server. The server itself works, and very well too (600 gigs of hard drive space will do that to you). But for some reason the DNS keeps going to my router. After much research and troublesome conversations with the technical customer service people from Quest, I finally figure out (aka, the Rep finally figures out) that my current service does not permit my home server to display on the internet.

So, If I want to host my own website I'll have to upgrade, and I don't want to yet. Originally I wanted just a small forum based community for adult roleplays (since every hosting service has banned adult activities). But it looks like this plan has failed (at least for now). Hopefully I'll figure out what to do with my new Domain Name....

Anyway, I've been playing with PHP (because my home server has all the pretiful software now) and it's really a very versitile language. It kinda reminds me of when I took C++ in High School. I could probably make a couple cool games from it if I really spent time on it. Too bad I'd be the only one who could play them ><

So I've started a little art shop. I got a request that was pretty challenging, and honestly, it was quite refreshing. It was a doppleganger request (I'm a Doppleganger Artist which basically means that I can imitate other peoples styles pretty easily). Not really a lot going on in life right now. Things are going pretty well. Thanksgiving was awesome! My bf's family is a bunch of foodies, so of course everyone brought awesome food and there was way too much of it. It's ok, we've got a lot of food for eating this week.

I'm not sure if I should start a freebie art thread here? I've already got a few going and quite frankly... I'm getting kinda bored with art.

Hmm, I'm kinda hungry... *runs off to eat breakfast*
