Awww, it does take a while to get used to gold-earning here. The more that you put in a post, the more money you'll earn from it though. If you write a paragraph for a response you'll get a lot more gold than if you just type a few words.
I think the best way to earn gold is via games, which allow you to earn 500g per day. There's a good method to earn gold quickly through Tetris (you can get all 500g in about 10-15 minutes). If you're interested you can do a search on youtube for it, although it does take some practice before you'll be able to do it perfectly.
Everything is much cheaper on this site than others too, so try to keep gold earning in perspective. Contribution items only cost about 2k (usually less) in the first few months that they've been released, and that's far cheaper than on other sites. Also, most store items don't cost more than a 200-300 gold.
