...why I've been more inactive than usual lately, it's because my grandfather has been ill with cancer, leading to his death last Wednesday...
I'm hoping to be back to my normal level of inactiveness by next week, and have something to tell from my job watching children while their parents are at work (in groups of 7-15, organized by the school, and paid for by the parents)...

I was contemplating adding this to the other entry from today, but I didn't like the idea of it...
There was one more thing that happened today... On our way over the mountain to the concert, we saw a fox. It had been run over by a car, and was just lying in the middle of the road, dead, with intestines smeared around it and a stripe of blood quite obviously having been "shot" from its mouth during the incident.
It was the most dreadful and terrible thing I have seen in God knows how long. I couldn't do anything to help him either, because the place he was lying was a bad place to stop, having no view of coming cars and the likes. Also, I couldn't risk getting any of those dangerous diseases it might have had. You shouldn't touch dead animals like that, because you never know what you might get from it..
I asked mum lots of questions about it, and she said there was nothing we could do. There isn't even a phone number you can call to make someone with the right expertise to take care of it in a safe manner aware of the situation.... We just had to drive on and hope someone else took action.
It made me nauseous, it was just so dreadful...
It made me want to do something about how you treat stuff like this... By law, the one driving the car which hits the animal has to take care of the animal, but one never checks that, and some people don't even notice they ran over something... I wanted to create that phone number, and expertise service I mentioned above. If not for anything else, than to give people like me, who had to drive past and do nothing, an opportunity to not feel terrible. Let them make a call, and let that take the weight off their shoulders. I know I would have felt better if I knew there would, eventually be someone there to take care of it.
Foxes are some of my favourite animals as well, at least among the animals residing in our mountains. The lynx comes first however, then wolves.
It was gone when we came back, tho. That was a relief...

I had an odd day today...
I woke up early to go to school... Being a bit confused, I could just make out that I would have to get up quickly in order to have a shower before rushing for the bus... I spent a little too much time before taking action as usual, but went straight in the shower and did my thing. When I got back to my room again, I fixed up some clothes and started packing my stuff, worried that I'd wasted too much time already... I checked my cell phone again, and made out the time to be 3 minutes past 7, meaning I was late. However, when I double-checked the time, I saw that it was in fact not 3 minutes past 7 but three minutes past 4. In the morning. o.O No it was not fun... I had to just go to sleep again, not managing that either, just drifting in and out until it was actually time for me to get up... I had to put a towel on my pillow as well, and that shower really woke me up good... I actually considered just sitting down on Mene for the rest of my time home (4-6:30)... It was absurd! I had a shower at 3:45 in the morning!
Anyway, that's not all that happened... With four already being a more important number than others today, I happened to see a four fingered man on the train XD He literally had only four fingers, two on each deformed, chicken wing-like arm, constantly bent with his fingers by his chest. He made my day with his super-nice appearance. He looked like he could cheer up anyone with his bright smile and beaming face, he was just marvellous ^^
At school, we just saw films, as this was our last proper school day. My Spanish teacher gave us home made cinnamon rolls and we played games, and my English teacher was gone so we got the last couple of hours off... We also saw "The Importance of Being Earnest" which was an overall fantastic film, very fit for summer ^^
When I got home, my younger brother had gone fishing, and my older brother disrupted the peace and quiet of living on the countryside with his electric guitar and amp (borrowed from church for the occasion, as he didn't want to bring his own guitars over from Oslo on the train) Electric guitars make a lot of noise O_O I distracted him with some coffee tho ;)
In the evening, we (mum, my sister, me and a friend) were meeting my aunt and uncle and three of their children for pizza and an exclusive Rebecca St. James concert, raising money for children in Ethiopia. Only the pizza place was closed and we had to go to a shabby Chinese place instead... I don't like Chinese food even, so I just had chicken and fries XD
After we'd had our food, we went to the concert, which was absolutely fantastic! I don't often go to concerts, and this one was super small, but it was amazing, and I loved being there.... I think I'm a concert person....
I got a t-shirt there as well XD
It says "Thank God for Coffee..." and refers to Acts 20:24 in the Bible.
I don't get the connection all that well, but maybe someone else does ^^
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

I'll be gone for about 36 hours now... ^^ *feels lame saying it* I spend too much of my time here XD
I'm visiting my grandparents, and I don't feel right going online at their place when granddad is as sick as he is. I have to spend time with him before he goes...
I'll be going to our cabin in the mountains, tho, for a one-night sleep over and fishing trip XD
I need the exercise...
I'm afraid the heat will kill me tho...
The average of 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit) we have nowadays is more than my body can cope with in a good way... The scorching sun and my fear of being burnt by it only makes it worse....
I like going there tho. It's very peaceful ^^

I figured it was about time to post again ^^
Not that I have anything to say, but... XD
It's about time to post again...
I found out today that I have one day less to save my grades... Meaning I have tomorrow.
I think this is the closest I've ever come to certain doom before...
Luckily, I have one friend who does as bad in school as me, so we're going to save our grades together, without the pressure of family (read: Parents)... We're making Milkshake ^^
Hopefully, I'll save some of grades... Spanish, at least, since it would be the worst to retake....
Blah... I can hardly wait until I'm done with the whole school thing... I just want to specify and study something I actually like, instead of mandatory math, in which I had my last class today! :D Our teacher gave us ice cream ^^
I want to study creative writing, or English or maybe creative design... Just one more year in school, and I can start thinking about what to do next ^^

yeah
but it's worse if you know you could have done something about it.
i remember once my mom and i were walking down the street
me saw a birdie with bleeding eyes
i wanted to help so i touched it and it tried to get away making it bump against he wall
i didn't want to hurt it anymore and my mom sai it would eventually find it's way home...
...when we came back it was dead...
i'll never forgive myself for that...

I did have a nice day ^^
Despite all the stuff happening...
The fox was the only thing bad that happened...
