Yeah I hope not either. Though if it does, police officers will knock on our doors telling us to get the heck out of here. Then we will gather our things and head to the nursing home to pick my mom up and then head to my aunt cathy's house or my grandfather's house maybe. So I think I am mentally and physically prepared for this. Not sure about emotionally though.
Apparently someone wants this place to burn. Literally. x.x Well mostly some people have evacuated to placed the red cross reccomened like high schools, gyms inside schools. So far people are staying at Lewis Palmer high school, Cheyanne high school, I can't remember the others but people there like the red cross have food so people get a decent meal things like that. Basically as far away from the fire. 32.5k people have been evacuated. I think the worst where it is at is Garden of The Gods. The smoke is so bad, that you can't even breath. For me I am highly allergic to any sort of smoke. I can't smell it, I can see it in a far distance but I can sometimes feel it in my chest.
We have tons of trees and stuff and we are pretty sure some people started this fire. My sister and I think there are different people in different areas of colorado starting these fires. More then 800 fire fighters are busting to get it under control. Only 5 percent is under control sadly. So I hope today or at least tonight they get more of this fire under control. But you never know. Where I am the weather changes constantly. And it doesn't rain enough. Or when it does, it comes with wind gust etc which isn't good for the fire.
I hope not. But this fire burns fast. The last time I checked it only burned around 6000 acres and today it is up to 12000 acres. So yesterday it really burned a lot.
I might not be able to reply very quickly like I have been. In my state there has been a lot of forest fires started by stupid people on purpose and so my area might be evacuated and I have no phone or laptop or ipod with internet to keep you updated. But if things are in the all clear, I will let you know.
