I screamed and ran out of the room and one of the cats ran in and ate it. XD

Well, only a handful made it upstairs, and they've been killed by the cats/my boyfriend. XD

I woke up with one on my pillow about two inches away from my eyes.

We think a chemical spilled in our basement and/or that there's radon down there that's mutating the cave crickets. Or that the dumping downstream of the nearby creek is causing it.

Yeah, and a lot of the ones in our basement have strange numbers of legs, too. Like they've mutated because of something. Between 5-9 legs. >.<;; And when they jump, they kinda flip and then bounce off the floor. They're really weird and freaky...

Yeah, tell me about it. XD

Well, that, and growing up I loved to catch those giant black crickets in my front yard, but I only named myself for the ones in the basement. However, I always picture myself as one of the black ones in the yard.
